A Terrible Fiasco
"Why do I look like this? What have they done to my hair?" sobbed Kate, completely devastated by the new haircut she just got. How is she going to handle going out in public? What will be the reaction of people?
Kate paid 300$ for what was supposed to be a haircut of her dream. But the story turned to have a different ending from what the woman expected. Read on to find out how she managed to handle this awful situation.
Planning Gone Wrong!
Before leaving her home that morning, Kate had never thought that her day would take a turn for the worse. Of course, how could she?
For quite some time she had been planning to get a haircut, after all, it's only quite natural to have healthy hair. Unfortunately, Kate didn't know what she had been planning for weeks, would turn into a complete fiasco.
A Beautiful Day
"It's a beautiful day today. I'll probably have the haircut of my dreams after a few hours," Kate thought, caressing her hair while looking at the mirror.
Sliding her finger through the length of her hair, she took one long and probably the last look at her beautiful locks. It was time to say goodbye ...
Hurry Up
She quickly went and took a cold shower, followed by her supple morning routine. Her appointment at this exclusive barbershop was in the next 3 hours.
Moreover, it was a 2-hour long ride. "I must hurry up! Don't want to miss the appointment with these guys," thought Kate while rushing out of the bathroom. She quickly changed into some comfy clothes, grabbed her car keys, and hit the road!
Getting A Quick Breakfast
Since Kate still had some time in hand, she decided to pull up to the nearest Starbucks and pick up some coffee and bagel before finally taking a detour along the freeway!
As per the plan, she got herself a quick breakfast, munched on it as quickly as she could ... almost choking and soon was back to driving ... finally to the appointment. Finally to her dream haircut. Only if she knew!
An Unprecedented Situation
A few minutes passed and she, thankfully, didn't encounter any traffic. It was all fine until Kate took the right turn ...
Kate could hardly believe her eyes ... up ahead there was a swarm of cars, for as far as could eyes see. There was no chance that she could make the appointment like this!
A Big Hurdle ... Resolved
After waiting for 15 minutes, finally, she saw some respite when the car ahead started turning on their ignition.
Hoping that this was the only thing that went wrong with her day, Kate once again set for her appointment, one that meant so much to her. Only if she knew that this very haircut was going to turn into her biggest nightmare ...
The Salon Experience
Upon reaching the salon, Kate was greeted by some very friendly experts who made her comfortable, offered her some coffee, took her through the whole procedure before finally starting.
It was finally the time ... It was all happening ... Finally, Kate'll be able to flaunt her dream haircut. She had jitters ... happy jitters. Only she didn't know that these jitters were actually a premonition for disaster!
The Haircut Gone Wrong
The process soon started with a relaxing hair wash, followed by deep conditioning. It was just a haircut and Kate was thoroughly enjoying the process. Little did she know that things would soon take a very wild turn.
Midway through the haircut, everything started going haywire ... Suddenly, Kate realized that a major chunk of her hair was gone!!!
Fringes Gone Wrong
Yes, it was gone - never to come back again. Kate couldn't believe what just happened. And this was just the beginning of her haircut going down the drain!
"Please ... not the fringes, don't let anything go wrong with them!" prayed Kate, terrified of how she was going to look. Were her prayers going to be answered? Only time would tell!
Looking Like a Karen
It felt as if time had stopped. The minutes felt like centuries. "When will this nightmare end," cried Kate. Finally, the agony ended. However, the outcome was anything but what Kate had unexpected.
In her own words, "I just paid $300 to look like a f***ing Karen. I look like I’m on the PTA. I swear I don’t drive a f***ing minivan,” while sobbing hysterically.
Crying Uncontrollably
The haircut disappointed Kate so much that she started balling her eyes out as soon as she got back in her car. She could not believe what had just happened. All her aspirations were brought to a complete shut.
It was then that Kate recorded the video, which went viral on Tik Tok. Referring to herself as 'Karen - an acronym for people who are narcissistic and intentionally hurting towards others,' Kate started sobbing inconsolably.
"Looks Like I Have Three Sons Who Play Football"
“I look like I have three sons who play T-ball. I look like I collect coupons. Oh God! I don’t use coupons,” she further exclaimed, still nowhere near calming down.
For a whole minute, Kate cried and cried and cried. Unfortunately, there was no one to hear her pleas! "Why does God hate me" she exclaimens towards the end of the video. But that's not it.
Asking for a Refund
She tried visiting the salon and ask them for some sort of compensation, atleast a refund. But the salon did what was expected of them ...
Yep, you guessed it right - the "experts" turned her away ... No wonder her reaction was well due! Anyone could've felt that way, don't you think?
The Video Went Viral
Unfortunately, Kate had to go back home with the haircut she so despised. Heartbroken and sad, Kate had to unwillingly accept her fate.
It was then that she posted her agony and quite a hilarious situation on Tik Tok. What was then ... it took no time to spread like a wildfire.
