Baby Keeps Crying Until Cat Does This

A Baby In Need

Only a few weeks passed before the newborn baby was brought home. The family was thrilled and couldn't wait to start a new chapter in their life. But someone wasn't that excited about the latest addition to the family.

The cat had acted strangely since the first day they brought the baby home. The parents were worried she wouldn't accept the baby, and they had all the rights to be. How the cat reacted when the child started crying left everyone baffled.

Happy Family

Mary and John married young. They were high school sweethearts and decided early that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. As soon as they got married, they adopted a cat named Sniffles, who became the most spoiled member of the family.

They were living a great life, studying and working part-time, trying to build their future together. But things didn't always go as planned, and their paths quickly took an unexpected turn.

The Baby

While still a university student, Mary found out that she was pregnant. The couple celebrated the news with great joy. They were about to become parents.

But they were also worried about making ends meet and figuring out how to divide their time between school and taking care of the new baby. While overjoyed, they were also incredibly stressed out. What could they do?

Crammed

The couple's flat was a small one. So when they brought the baby home, the apartment started to feel even smaller. They didn't mind it much, but there was someone living there who did.

The cat wasn't too happy about sharing the space with the baby. She was standoffish and even began to display aggressive behavior towards her owners. The new parents didn't know what to do next.

No Children

This wasn't the first time the cat had interacted with children. When some friends with kids visited, she was terrified of children and even attacked them when they got too close.

Mary and John didn't think much of it. They just kept the cat away from children, and that was it. But what would they do no when a baby lived in the same house with the cat? Could they make it work, or was the baby in danger?

Taking Precautions

The new parents were worried about the cat's behavior around the baby. They didn't really know what to do. The best they could come up with was to keep them away from each other for as long as possible.

The cat wasn't happy about the new presence in the house, but she had to adapt. Could the couple keep the baby safe, though, or did they need to take harsher measures?

New Parents

John and Mary were young and full of energy, but the responsibility of being new parents was overwhelming. They had to come up with a better plan soon.

Eventually, they decided to take a break from studying and focus only on their jobs for a while so they could take turns in taking care of the baby during the day. The plan seemed to work just fine, but they forgot to consider one thing.

Sick Baby

The couple almost lost it when the baby got sick. They felt like they couldn't catch a break. John and Mary struggled with money and adjusting to the new life, but no challenge was bigger than their baby getting sick.

They rushed him to the hospital as soon as he started to show symptoms. Apparently, he just had a mild fever, and the doctor had told the parents to keep the baby under observation, and he'll be fine in no time. The parents returned home, but they still couldn't shake the feeling that something terrible would happen.

Ignored

While most of the parents' attention went to taking care of the sick baby, someone felt ignored. The cat was unhappy that no one was playing with her so much and no one was paying much attention to her.

The cat began to act out even more and hissed at her owner angrily. The parents didn't pay much attention to her as they were too busy and tired, and this led to interesting consequences, to say the least.

Baby Wouldn't Stop Crying

The baby wouldn't stop crying, which is expected considering that he was sick. Babies tend to cry a lot. Sick babies cry even more. This became frustrating for the parents as they felt helpless. They didn't know what they could do to calm him down.

Then something unexpected happened, which left them both in awe. They couldn't believe what they were seeing. The cat decided to step in.

Cat's Reaction

The cat was very intrigued by the crying baby. She slowly approached him and checked him up. Next, she touched him carefully with her paws, but nothing changed. The baby was still crying.

Eventually, the cat became more worried, and to the parents' surprise, she snuggled with the crying baby. It took only minutes before the baby stopped crying, and the couple couldn't be happier. It was a miracle.

Capturing The Moment

John and Mary witnessed the loveliest moment between their baby and the cat. They decided that it had to be captured, as it was a one-in-a-million moment.

John quickly grabbed his phone and recorded the cute encounter, so they could forever watch it and enjoy their baby's first interaction with Sniffles. John created an adorable video that would soon garner a lot of attention.

Inseparable

After that first encounter, the cat and the baby became inseparable. She would always snuggle with him and quickly run to him whenever he cried.

The parents thought it was the cutest thing ever, but they never left them alone just to be safe. Even though the cat had the best intentions and she was very protective of the newborn.

Guardian

Sniffles, the family cat, became the baby's guardian angel. At least that's how the parents saw the whole thing. She would always try to protect him and never leave him alone when crying.

She even tried to gently play with him by touching his forehead with her paws, which made the baby laugh in the cutest way.

Going Viral

Eventually, the couple decided that the video of the encounter was so cute that it had to be shared with the entire world.

They had made the right decision. The video quickly became viral on Facebook, and everyone who watched it was filled with joy. People were all acknowledging how cute and amazing the cat's reaction was.
