‘Beautiful’ is the perfect word that fits the bill when it comes to Casey and Joey’s romantic voyage. They started off as best friends but realized they were a lot more than just that.
Soon enough, Joey and Casey married each other and kick-started a new chapter in their life. They had a dream life that every one of us dreams of living. The lovely couple had no idea that destiny would turn things upside down.
Bought A Farm
Joey and Casey used to earn well and this is the reason why decided to buy a farm house two years after they got married. They also built their own home on the same farmhouse in the countryside.
They renovated it extensively. It meant a lot of work had to be done but in the end, the result was charming. Casey and Joey were happy with the outcome but their happiness wouldn’t last long.
Something Was Missing
They had it all – a beautiful marriage, successful careers, a farm and their own home. But still, they felt that something was missing in their lives.
Casey and Joey realized that they wanted children because they thought that kids would complete their lives. Their house was already ready and it was also suitable for children.
Casey Got Pregnant
Soon after, the couple got what they wished for and Casey got pregnant. Their big dream had now turned into a reality. A few months later, Casey gave birth to their first daughter and named her Chloe.
They were living in a fairytale and Chloe was the child of their dreams. But the couple had no idea that more surprises were coming their way – both good and bad.
Child Of Their Dreams
Chloe was their first daughter and she was receiving all their attention and love. Although Casey and Joey were absolutely delighted to welcome a new member in their family, they realized that they wanted more children.
Casey loved kids and this is the reason why she wanted to have her own lot. Soon enough, her wishes would bear fruit.
More Good News
Four years had passed since Chloe’s birth and it had been a wonderful life for the couple. Joey and Casey received another good news that Casey was pregnant again.
They were expecting another daughter and when she was finally welcomed into this world, the couple named her Tenly. The family became increasingly happy but their lives got even busier. They had no idea that it was just the beginning.
Another Shocker
Their hectic schedules posed some issues but they were happy nevertheless. A few years later, they received another shocker and it was the biggest one of them all.
Casey was pregnant again but this time around, they were expecting triplets! The couple had naturally conceived triplets which is incredibly special. It was a major news that they had to process since their family had expanded a lot.
A Risky Pregnancy
Casey and Joey couldn’t believe that their life had turned out this way. No matter how wonderful the news was, fate had other plans.
The doctors told Casey that it would be a risky pregnancy and that it was borderline dangerous. This is the point when everything would go downhill but Joey and Casey certainly weren’t prepared for it.
No Medicines
The doctors suggested Casey to gulp down some medicines on a daily basis. The medications could have pushed the delivery date a bit earlier but Casey didn’t want to take any medicines while she was pregnant.
She believed that she and her babies would be absolutely fine without the medication as well. She decided to get admitted into a hospital instead.
The Triplets Were Born!
Casey stayed in the hospital for months, away from her husband and kids. Although she was missing her family very much, she wanted to safeguard the future of the triplets. Finally, her efforts bore fruit and on January 29, 2016, Casey gave birth to the triplets.
The three children were healthy. She had given birth to two boys and one girl. Casey was overjoyed but she had no idea that her happiness wouldn’t last long.
An Enormous Pain
Casey was home, finally! Casey and Joey now had 5 kids in total and they were a happy little bunch. Their life was filled with the happiness of the highest order.
But ten days after her delivery, she felt an enormous pain in her chest and it felt like someone had stabbed her in the chest and twisted the knife. Joey rushed his wife to the hospital. A terrible discovery awaited them.
A Blood Clot
After the doctors diagnosed her completely by running several tests, they broke the news to Joey. The doctors informed the couple that Casey had a blood clot in her lungs.
They also reassured Joey that he didn’t need to worry as she was in good hands. Casey could now be with her newly born kids again. The pain vanished for a few days but it marked its return in full ferocity.
The Pain Returns
Just when Joey and Casey thought that she was out of the jaws of danger, the pain returned. Joey panicked and he knew that it was time to take her to the hospital again.
Sadly, things worsened from here because in the car, Casey fell unconscious. Joey tried to wake up his wife but things was about to get even more worse.
Joey’s Troubles
Casey was immediately transferred to the emergency number. Joey was experiencing the toughest time of his life since he had 5 kids at home and his wife who was also the mother of his kids was battling for her life. He just hoped that his wife would feel better again so that she can get united with her family again.
Joey was trying his best to stay calm but it wasn’t easy. He could sense that the time was moving at a snail’s pace. After a while, the doctors returned with a ‘not-so-optimistic’ face.
Casey’s Sad Demise
The doctors tried their best to save Casey but her condition was severe. Joey was getting increasingly anxious, looking at the sad faces of the doctors.
This is when they explained to Joey that there’s nothing more they could have done. Even after trying with all their might, they couldn’t save Casey. She had passed away.
Biggest Shock, Ever!
Needless to say, it was the biggest shock that Joey had ever received. Only a few months had passed since they had a family with 5 kids and now, Joey had no wife.
Pretty obviously, the kids lost their mother as well. Joey felt terrible because his fairytale-like life had transformed into one nasty nightmare.
A Beautiful Funeral
Casey was only 36-year-old when she passed away and neither of her friends or relatives saw it coming. Joey had to stay strong for his children, no matter how devastated he himself was.
Somehow, he managed to arrange a beautiful funeral for Casey.
GoFundMe Launched
From now on, Joey was on his own and he had to take care of his 5 children. But he wasn’t all alone as he thought he would be.
He received a lot of help from his friends and family. A GoFundMe was launched for the family and nearly $150,000 were raised!
Never Saw It Coming
Everyone who got to hear this story was deeply affected. He still tries to stay strong for his kids.
The reason why it hurt so much was that he didn’t see it coming. He never thought that Casey would pass away so soon.
Three Beautiful Gifts
