Mom Was Tired Of Looking Like A “Mouse” So She Did This

Making A Change

At the age of 26, she was simply sick and tired of the way she looked. Inspecting her brown hair and average-looking face in the mirror, she let out a deep sigh.

Although she had to keep her body in tip-top shape for her modeling gig, she felt like there wasn’t much she could do to improve her face. Little did she know, she’d be unrecognizable just six years later.

Meet Anastasia Pokreshchuk

In today’s digital age, everyone wants their 15 minutes of fame. But some people - mainly women - are willing to go to extremes to get noticed.

Anastasia Pokreshchuk was no different. She always wanted to be famous. But she knew that she’d have to do something drastic to stand out among the rest. She was willing to change her appearance so drastically that no one would recognize her anymore.

Instagram Model

Anastasia’s bizarre looks have paid off. Now, she’s amassed over 264,000 followers on her social media accounts.

At the age of 26, the Ukrainian model and mom made a drastic decision. And luckily, she has never looked back. She decided that she needed to cosmetically enhance her face to achieve the look of her dreams.

“Like Grey Mouse”

Anastasia disliked the way she looked before. Although she was not unattractive by any standards, she thought she looked plain and didn’t like her lips, nose, cheeks, or chin.

“I love this look. I was a grey mouse before,” she told the press. “My nose was too big, now I have lips and cheeks and it looks okay.”

Hyaluronic Fillers

Anastasia, who is originally from Kyiv, began injecting her face with hyaluronic fillers and botox herself - paying special attention to her cheeks.

By following a doctor’s online instructions, she was able to get the results she wanted. She was also very careful to sterilize her equipment and does it “like a doctor.” When she saw the results, she “fell in love.”

The Biggest Cheeks In The World

Anastasia’s extreme body modifications have left her with chiseled cheeks and fuller lips, but she does not plan on stopping her cosmetic enhancements any time soon. "After I had the injections and saw the changes in my cheeks, I fell in love with them," she explained.

Now at age 32, Anastasia has spent the last six years achieving the “biggest cheeks in the world.” And she plans to transform her face even further.

Dangerous

Anastasia has spent around $2,000 on fillers. She saved a lot of money because she takes a DIY approach to injecting the fillers into her own face.

She is aware of how dangerous the procedure is without a doctor, though, and admitted that it “can be dangerous” to do by yourself. Anastasia is happy with the way she looks, but what do other people think?

Addicted To Fillers

After the first cheek and lip fillers Anastasia injected into herself, the cosmetic procedure has become a must for her. She injected more and more filler into her face, and her cheeks and lips grew bigger and bigger.

Now, she looks like a larger-than-life fictional character. She doesn’t care about the odd looks she gets when she’d out and about, but what does her mother think of her new look?

Critics

While Anastasia has hundreds of thousands of followers, she also has her critics. Some people insist that she looked better before she became addicted to fillers. But Anastasia couldn’t care less about what other people thought.

"I love them, I want them to look like this, and I'm very happy. I regularly inject other parts of my face myself," she said. "I understand that they look weird to other people but I don't mind."

Like A “Hamster”

Anastasia claims that her cosmetic enhancements have given her more confidence to share selfies online. She also shared that she never posted photos of herself before.

She says she thought she was ugly before the fillers, even though her mother disagrees. “I don’t like my face. I looked like a hamster with my cheeks,” she said, referring to an old photo of herself. Of course, she gets a lot of hate online as well.

Haters

Many people say that Anastasia’s appearance is way too over-the-top and unnatural, but some take it further by spewing a lot of hate at her online.

"I've had people tell me I am an ugly [expletive] and that I should kill myself but when I see it I just laugh it off and ignore it," she confessed. But she says she’s also seen a positive trend in her love life since she enhanced her face.

More Attention

“Of course, I have more attention with my filler, romantic also. But it's not to do with my cheeks—it's because I have become more confident,” Anastasia says.

And her newfound confidence has also allowed her to do more in the social influencer sphere than she could have done before. Before the fillers, she suffered from extremely low self-esteem.

New Confidence

"I was ashamed of everything; my voice, my appearance. It was really hard work. I think I was ugly before" Anastasia said.

“My mom thinks that I was naturally beautiful before, but now thinks I look more exotic and my friends say my new appearance is better because before I looked like a grey mouse."

She’s Happy

Anastasia knows that not everyone understands her obsession with fillers - she said that her own mom thinks that constantly injecting her cheeks is crazy.

Now, she looks unique with her prominent features - she even dyes her poker-straight hair shocking pink to stand out from the crowd. But, at the end of the day, Anastasia is happy - and that’s all that should matter… right?

Not Done

Anastasia regularly uses fillers in her lips, cheeks, and the corners of her mouth. She’s also had botox treatments in her forehead, and her chin and jaw have been surgically reshaped.

By now, she’s lost count of how many procedures she’s done. And she doesn’t plan on stopping her cheek enhancements any time soon. “You may think that they are too big but I think that they’re a little bit small, I need to refresh them again soon,” she said.
