Woman Goes On A Date, Stranger Slips Her A Note Telling Her To Run

Hadia's date wasn't going well, but she didn't want to be rude and walk away. She decided to wait thirty more minutes before excusing herself from the table.

But then, a stranger approached her while her date was using the bathroom and slipped a note into her hand. Hadia read what it said and instantly felt sick to her stomach. She needed to get out of there.

Meet Hadia

Hadia had been on many dates before. Some of them turned out to be great, and others were a complete disaster.

One day, she matched with a good-looking man in her area, and they agreed to go on a date.

Looking Forward

Hadia was looking forward to her date. He seemed kind and funny, and the chemistry was definitely there.

But if only she had known who this man was, she never would have agreed to go out with him.

Waiting For Her Date

Hadia arrived at the coffee shop a few minutes early and took a seat at the table by the window.

After about fifteen minutes of waiting, she saw her date walk through the door. He apologized for being late, and they chatted about their day. But when the man started talking about his hobbies, Hadia felt that something wasn't right.

Rap Music

He told Hadia that he loved rap music, which wasn't unusual for someone his age.

But when he mentioned one artist in particular, Hadia started to feel suspicious.

Gut Feeling

She ignored the feeling at first. But just a few minutes later, she got the shock of her life.

How could she have missed the red flags?

Something Is Off

Her date mentioned the name of someone she had never heard of before. According to him, he was some kind of internet celebrity.

Hadia wanted to be polite and asked a few questions about this person. But she wasn't prepared for the truth...

The Stranger

Then, suddenly, the man got up and headed to the bathroom. It was then that Hadia noticed a stranger eyeing her.

He then approached Hadia and handed her a piece of paper before leaving the coffee shop.

In Shock

Hadia's jaw dropped when she began reading the letter. The stranger told her to run as fast as she could.

She pulled out her phone and quickly googled the "internet celebrity" her date had told her about. And what she found was horrible.

Teaching Him A Lesson

Hadia knew she had to teach her date a lesson. So as soon as the man returned to the table, she pressed the record button on her phone and hid it in her purse.

Hadia asked him a few more questions about the "guru," and his answers made her blood boil.

"Be Safe Girl"

It turns out that the stranger who handed Hadia the note heard all of their conversations.

When he heard the guru's name, he knew he needed to act fast. "Too many red flags. Run. Be safe, girl," he wrote on the back of a pharmacy receipt.

The Last Straw

Hadia and the stranger both knew that something was seriously wrong with her date.

The guru that he was talking about was a life coach who taught men to be rude to women.

Awful Person

He taught men to say awful things like, “You’re only a 6. I only date 10s.”

One of his favorite lines was, “You’re average at best." After the failed date was over, Hadia pulled out her phone again and opened the Twitter app.

Sharing Her Story Online

She shared her story online and attached the photo of the note she received from the stranger.

Although she already knew her date was bad news, she was appreciative that the kind stranger reminded her that she deserved better. It didn't take long for her tweet to go viral.

Viral

Hadia received thousands of tweets from people worldwide. Some sided with her, others not so much. But she didn't care.

Hadia just wanted the stranger to know that she was grateful for what he had done for her.
