Richard Branson: Necker Belle

He has his own clothing lines Sean John and Sean by Sean Combs. The rapper might be worth about $475 million, but his yacht is worth $65 million – dam. It is easy to see how popular music artist, Sean “Diddy” Combs can afford this, but it’s crazy to imagine spending that much money on something you don’t literally live in. This yacht features a projector screen, stage, and a party floor with a built-in bar on the top deck. This luxury 54-foot yacht is so big that it requires 10 staff members on board.

It can travel up to 20 knots, and Branson hires it out to others for the cost of $100,000 per week. The yacht can sleep up to 10 people.

Chances are, Steve Jobs is responsible for whatever device you’re reading this article on. Not only is he the co-founder, chairman and CEO of Apple Inc, but he was also the CEO and largest shareholder of Pixar Animation Studios. Jobs had a very interesting background. He was adopted as a child and raised in San Fransisco, dropped out of college and traveled India studying Buddhism all before he built his fame and fortune. Sadly, Jobs passed away a year before his yacht was finished and revealed by its designed.

Before his death, Steve Jobs commissioned the yacht to be built by Phillippe Starck. The yacht is built with glass features inspired by the Apple store designs, and it includes six bedrooms with a top-of-the-line electronic communication system to facilitate communication throughout the ship. The ship is run by a group of 27-inch iMac computers located in the wheel house. Job’s widow, Laurene Powell Jobs, maintains ownership of the vessel now and it's worth is $120 million.

Chances are very slim that you don’t recognize this name. Johnny Depp is a 52-year-old actor, musician and producer originally from Kentucky, where he most definitely would NOT need a yacht. He really hit it big in the 80s and his momentum seems to never have ceased. He won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor for his role in Pirates of the Caribbean – how appropriate that his beautiful yacht made the list, amiright? Not to mention he is listed in the Guinness World Records for being one the highest paid actors of all time being worth $75 million.

The name “Vajoliroja” comes from a combination of names in the Depp family: “Va” for Vanessa Paradis his girlfriend, “jo” for Johnny’s own name, “liro” after Depp’s daughter Lily Rose, and “ja” for Depp’s son, Jack.
