So whether you’ve got the spare cash and want to see your child out, or are genuinely looking into private high schools, we’ve got a list of all the best schools where the elite send their kids.

Salisbury School, Salisbury, Conn.

If your son is into philosophy and religion, and you have a spare $47,500 lying around, then this all-boys prep school is for you! You see, the Salisbury School requires that all seniors take a philosophy and religion course. 

And with a nationally-recognized lacrosse and hockey team, who knows, perhaps they’ll be the next Olympic star? After all two-time Olympian, Porter Collins did study here.

Middlesex School, Concord, Mass.

Middlesex School in Concord not only has a $252 endowment but its alumni are pretty impressive too. Actor and all-around funny guy Steve Carell went to school here, as did Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom. 

For a hefty $47,810 tuition fee, your child will be studying amongst 399 other pupils, all hoping to be the next social media billionaire or Hollywood star. 

The Browning School - New York City

In the city that never sleeps, lies The Browning School. This highly established school enrolls 110 students a year and the tuition fee is just under $49,000. 

That hefty fee includes all textbooks, class trips, lunches, and more. However many students are helped out with financial aid to pay this mouth-dropping price.

The Berkshire School - Sheffield, Massachusetts

While schooling here, kids can expect top-notch service. Each student is assigned their own personal advisor and the school enrolls approximately 400 students a year.

This school comes with a hefty $49,000 price tag which is just for day students. If you want your child to live there that’ll cost extra. But with the campus being 400 acres large and featuring many state of the art facilities, it’s worth it, right?

Trinity School - New York City, New York

Next up is one of the oldest schools in the country! Trinity School in New York was first founded back in 1709, and since then it has become one of the most respected schools nationwide. 

But letting your child study and live here is gonna cost you. Just under $50,000 in fact. 

Riverdale Country School - New York City

Offering a whopping $52,000 tuition fee, this school, Riverdale Country School really does put its money where its mouth is.

All books, supplies, technology, trips, and food are included in the price, and this school is also one of the first to “go green.” They’re big on sustainability and being good to the environment.

The Lawrenceville School - Lawrenceville, New Jersey

In order to get into this highly established and renowned high school not only do you need an average SAT score of 2095, but also a spare $54,000 in your bank. 

However, the final cost of living and studying there actually takes it to $72,000 a year! This is due to the books, supplies, health insurance, and food you’d be buying there. With the price of that fee, you’d be expecting them to serve caviar, right?

Grier School, Pennsylvania

If your daughter has got dreams of making it on Broadway or joining Beyoncé on her next world tour, then Grier School in Pennsylvania is the one for you.

For $55,900 a year, girls who attend this prestigious school get full access and leadership from professional choreographers and Broadway dancers.

Avenues: The World School, New York City 

With a $56,400 yearly tuition, you’d expect to be seeing Celebs and stars while dropping your child off, right? Well at Avenues: The World School, you may just be able to do that. Amongst numerous celeb parents, one of Avenue's student's parents includes Suri Cruise, the daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes! 

But your child won’t just be brushing shoulders with stars, they’ll also be kitted out with up to date MacBook and iPads. Oh, and at the end of a long day, private drivers in long, black town cars will be waiting to take them home. Pretty fancy, right? 

Kent School, Connecticut

Midland School, California

The Hill School, Philadelphia

Next up is one of the most elite boarding schools in America. The Hill School, located just 40 miles outside of Philadelphia, boasts many strict rules and regulations that all students must abide by.

This includes kitting themselves out with The Hill School’s formal academy dress code: boys wear coats and ties, while girls wear blazers and an Oxford shirt. The price for your child to play dress-up every day? $59,050. 

The Storm King School, New York

The Storm King School boasts a 55-acre campus with fencing teams and tennis courts. Dorm buildings are known as “cottages” and each school has its own private chef. Who wouldn’t want to go to school here? 

Forman - Litchfield, Connecticut

Here it is folks, the most expensive high school in America. Forman in Connecticut costs just over $62,000 a year! 

It was originally an all-girls school, but now it’s a college prep school for students that have "identified learning differences. Their curriculum is not for the faint-hearted with a rigorous requirement of doing 10 hours of community service a year.
