Bouchard's name has become a bigger and bigger name in the world of professional tennis. This 23-year-old Canadian started playing tennis at the age of five, and she is still a member of Tennis Canada's National Training Centre in Montreal, where she grew up.
Bouchard made her name in professional tennis when she reached the 2014 Wimbledon Final.

She is also the first Canadian-born player to reach the finals of a Grand Slam in singles. Bouchard is currently ranked 59 in the world, and at 23 years old, she has a lot more room to reach the top.
Azarenka is a huge name professional international tennis. She has been such a success over these past few years, even being a huge rival to tennis powerhouses Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova. Although she has yet to reach the status of Williams and Sharapova, Azarenka has been very successful as a professional tennis player.

Her success peaked in 2012 when she was ranked no. 1 in the world. She has been playing professionally since 2003 and is still a huge threat to any player on the court.
As another professional tennis player on our list, Ivanovic is a huge name, especially in her home country of Serbia. Although 2015 and 2016 have not been the best years for Ivanovic's tennis career, she has proven herself as a talented professional player.

1 in the world. Due to her talent and reputation, Ivanovic won't be hurting for cash anytime soon.
Ronda Rousey is the most recognized female MMA fighter of all time. She might be nice on the eyes, but she is brutal in the octagon. She won 12 consecutive MMA fight, six in the UFC, before she lost to Holly Holm in 2015.
Garbiñe Muguruza: $12 Million
She has had such a powerful impact lately that in September of 2015, Rousey was voted as the best female athlete ever by an online ESPN poll.
Not only is Rousey a sucess in the UFC, she also won a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games for Judo. Since her rise to fame in the MMA world, Rousey has made a few on-screen appearences, including films such as The Expendables 3, Furious 7 and Entourage.
Like Bouchard, Garbiñe Muguruza's name has become bigger in the world of professional tennis. Although she was born in Venezuela, Muguruza is a Spanish citizen but currently resides in Switzerland.
Muguruza has won three singles titles, most notably at the 2016 French Open where she beat world No. 1 Serena Williams in the final.
Simona Halep: $14 Million
She is currently ranked 14 in the world, but her highest rank was at No. 2 in June of 2016. This 23-year-old has been playing well and has a bright future ahead of her.
If you haven't figured it out by now, professional women tennis players are at the top of the highest-paid female athletes. Simona Halep is another one in the category, but she is anything but ordinary. She has put in tremendous amount of practice and work into becoming a great tennis player. She started playing the game at 4 years old and started practicing daily at the age of 6.
Halep first broke into the world's top 50 at the end of 2012, reached the top 20 in August 2013, and finally the top 10 in January 2014.
Karrie Webb: $15 Million
She is currently ranked No. 2 in the world and has no plans on settling on that number. Halep was so well recognized on and off the court that she was awarded the WTA Most Popular Player of the Year prize for the 2014-2015 year.
For out first non-tennis pro on the list, Karrie Webb has quite the successful reputation. Not only is she an admirable athlete, but she is Australia's most successful female golfer and one of the greatest players in the history of women's golf.
Webb began her professional career in 1994 playing on the Ladies European Tour where she finished second at the Women's Australian Open and the Futures Tour in the U.S., where she won one tournament.

At 42 years old, Webb still plays on the tour and is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. She has a total of 41 wins on the LPGA Tour, more than any other active player.
Another pro tennis player making the list, Jelena Jankovic is a celebrity in her home country of Serbia. Some of her career highlights include winning the 2007 Wimbledon Mixed Doubles title with Jamie Murray, the 2010 BNP Paribas Open, the Internazionali BNL d'Italia twice, in 2007 and 2008 and an appearance in the finals of the 2008 US Open.
Jankovic began professional tennis career in the year 2000 and has been successful ever since. She remained a World No. 1 in singles for seventeen consecutive weeks until she was overtaken by Serena Williams in February of 2009.
Lorena Ochoa: $15 Million
She is currently ranked No. 60 in singles and No. 122 in doubles.
This successful golf pro comes to us from the country of Mexico. Lorena Ochoa played on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour from 2003 to 2010 and was the top-ranked female golfer in the world for 158 consecutive weeks. Ochoa started playing golf at the age of five and won her first national event at the age of 7.
As the first Mexican golfer to be ranked number one in the world, she is considered the best Mexican golfer and the best Latin American female golfer of all time.
Lindsay Davenport: $20 Million
Ochoa was elected to the World Golf Hall of Fame and will be inducted in September of 2017. Although she is retired, Ochoa will be able to live comfortably due to her large net worth.
