The lights were dim, there was complete silence despite numerous people sitting right there. It was then, when no one expected it, that the unexpected happened ...
As soon as the lights came on, a little girl named Paige started performing. But no one had imagined what happened next, when at one point, little Paige jumped on the table, taking everyone by surprise.
Little Paige
Paige Glenn was born in Murrieta, CA on October 6, 2008. Ever since childhood, she had been an exceptionally creative child, always inquisitive of her surroundings
When she was little, Paige would often stomp to the sound of music, cheery and playful. It didn't take long for her parents to realise Paige's creative instincts and give her a platform to explore and grow further.
A Star
When she grew up a little, Paige's parents decided to give her formal training into the intricacies of various dance forms. It was there that she made friends with Artyon Celestine, who was also born in CA.
Aryton, himself was an avid dance enthusiast. Together, the duo participated in many events and functions, making a name and gaining some fans along the way. However, they had a big roadblock, who was often trying to tie them down.
Meet Me At The Barn!
Their teacher had strict policies when it came to dancing. To break free from the shackles, Paige comes up with an innovative plan.
She writes ‘Meet Me At The Barn!’ on a piece of paper and passes it to Artyon. After their school gets over, they meet at the barn and decide to join forces to become one of the cutest dance duos in history!
Luck
It was one fine day at their evening practice session that the duo came across the advertisement for America's Got Talent. "What do you think Ary, should we try our luck?" asked Paige, quite hopeful and happy.
Aryton was no less an aficionado, so of course, he was totally up for it. However, they had a big hurdle to overcome ...
Parents
Of course, reality shows seem like glitters and stars, but that's not always the case. So, it was going to be a task for both young dancers to persuade their parents.
Surprisingly enough, both Paige's and Aryton's parents soon enough said a resounding yes! What was then, the two kids aged - 8 and 10 respectively were up on the moon.
D-Day
Their excitement saw no boundaries as they started preparing for the D-Day. Neither of them had performed on such a big stage, so it was no less overwhelming.
But they kept their calm and kept practicing. The days were getting nearer and nervousness was rising, with each passing second. After all, they had decided to do something quite incredible...
Paige Jumps On The Table
So, when the day finally arrived, Paige decided to go above and beyond. When the lights came on, Paige jumped on the table and started with her part of the dance, while Artyon covered the stage.
No wonder, the judges were completely taken aback by this sudden move. They were shocked, yet allowed Paige the space to do her thing. On the stage at the same time, Artyon was totally slaying it!
Artyon Takes The Stage
While Paige kept the judges busy with her moves on their own table, Artyon entertained the crowd. In the now viral video of the performance, Artyon can be seen beginning his performance with a slide on the floor.
While his backup dancers provide the necessary support, Artyon looks like a force to reckon with himself as he seamlessly gets back up on his feet. This leads to a huge round of applause in the auditorium.
Their Amazing Chemistry
Artyon soon sets the stage on fire with his amazing set of splits. As soon as the audience is about to recover from this awesomeness, Paige joins him on the stage.
The duo then gets to work showing off their amazing chemistry on the dance floor. Their chemistry sets the bar very high and everyone agrees in their mind that it would be a tough act to follow.
Their Cute Dresses
Their tiny size is the only giveaway of their age as they both manage to look much older and mature than they are. And we mean it as a compliment because their performance was something else entirely!
What makes Paige’s twists and turns even more elegant is her dress. It is very reminiscent of a ballerina’s tutu. Artyon looks the part too, dressed in formal monochromatic shades.
Difficult To Please Simon
Those who follow AGT religiously might know that one of the judges Simon Cowell is very hard to please. But as can be seen in the video, halfway through the dance number, even Simon is bobbing along to the song and showing a small smile.
The most impressive part of their performance arrives right after as Artyon does a series of backflips across the stage.
Perfectly In Sync
It isn’t just about Artyon’s acrobatics as Paige follows the lead with an impressive number of turns on a single foot. While doing this, she slowly moves across the stage, a feat typically reserved for highly trained ballerinas.
After a few seconds, Artyon does another series of backflips. Their synchronization with each other is a sight to behold and we are sure that you would agree as well!
Standing Ovation
The judges as well as the audience are completely in awe of their performance. As soon as the dance number ends with an impressive couple’s move where Artyon lifts up Paige, turning and flipping her, the whole auditorium echoed with their applause!
This performance was stunning enough to garner a standing ovation from the audience. Even the judges give them a standing ovation!
Mel B’s Thoughts
The host then asks Mel B about her view of their performance and she had this to say “You two are just like lightning balls! As soon as you come on the stage, you light everything up.
You are brilliant dancers and I love your synergy with each other. Paige, your facial expressions are mind-blowing! Well done!” This is not all as the other judges had similar things to say about their performance.
Explosion Of Talent!
Heidi Klum was in awe of their talent as well and she had a lot of good things to say about this amazing dance duo! This is what she had to say “I think that the two of you are an explosion of talent!
You put the biggest smile on my face. I love watching you two perform!” And we agree! Who wouldn’t love watching these two young stunners lifting the whole auditorium with their performance!
Not A Massive Fan
Remember when we told you that it isn’t easy to please Simon Cowell? Well, that stands true to some extent in this scenario as well. This is what the critic had to say about their performance “I would never be a massive fan of you two but what you did tonight, I thought it was a step up.
You sir, I have never seen anything like that from ever! It was definitely a step up from the rest of the performances that we have seen on this stage.”
Howie’s Thoughts
The host then moves on to Howdie to get his views. The Canadian comedian had this to say “I think what you brought is what we want.
I would imagine that I’m not in everyone’s living room in America but I imagine that you have put a huge smile on everyone’s face. You are adorable and that is why we like being a part of this show. I loved watching you!”
Paige’s Statement
After winning hearts with her performance, it was now time for Paige to do it with her words.
This is what she said after her performance “I am really thankful that I get to be here at the in front of these amazing judges.”

How They Met
Artyon and Paige met at their dance class and hit it off right away. They even signed up for a duo act but Paige broke her legs.
The duo ended up preserving and competing anyway, only skipping a single competition despite Paige’s injury.
Probably Get Married
During one of their interviews, Paige adorably said that the pair will always be dancing together and will probably get married when they are older.
Only time will tell us what happens later in their lives, let us just appreciate their cuteness, shall we?
Could Not Make It To The Semifinals
Despite winning the hearts of judges and audiences alike, Artyon and Paige couldn’t make it to the semifinals.
This tells us a lot about how competitive AGT can get at times. Darci Lynne Farmer managed to win the season in which Artyon and Paige participated.
