The Cast of The Nanny – where are they now?

The Nanny was a hit television sitcom that aired in the ’90s that cracked up its audience over and over again for six amazing seasons. The script, incredible acting, relatable drama, and gorgeous stars won the show a Primetime Emmy Award, a Rose d’Or and a total of twelve other major award nominations. There have been many spinoffs and shows that were inspired by The Nanny and people are still watching the show over 20 years later. With the absolutely stunning Fran Drescher as the lead with her instantly recognizable nasal New York accent, this show is not one to be missed. The show revolves around Drescher’s Fran Fine, who was dumped by her fiancé for another woman and kicked out of her job working for him, all in the same day. She accidentally gets hired to be a nanny for the Sheffield family and finds out that it was her true calling. She is not like any other nanny the family has ever seen before, or come to think of it – that anyone has ever seen before. She teaches the three children of the house valuable street smarts and life lessons rather than telling them to eat their greens. Additionally, she develops a crush on the widowed father of the three children she was hired to take care of, Broadway producer Maxwell Sheffield. Fran becomes a mother figure to Maxwell’s three children; Maggie, Brighton and Gracie. We won’t spoil what happens next, but you need to see it to believe it. The show is filled with suspense, amazing outfits, love interests, family drama, and so many good laughs. Alongside Niles, the family butler, and Maxwell’s elitist business partner C.C. Babcock, and the Sheffield family make up for 22-minute episodes of pure enjoyment. The Nanny was a unique show in that it has a constant running line of famous actors, singers, and actors who had cameo appearances on the show.
