Ten Greatest Once-In-A-Lifetime Experiences You Can Have This Year

Best Travel Experiences You Must Have

We're all itching to get out and explore the world again after two years of limited travel alternatives. Despite the fact that the pandemic changed when, where, and how we travel, we are excited to indulge our wanderlust and explore what delights we will discover.  So let's start with the list of things 2022 has to offer.

1. World’s Longest Zipline The current world's longest zip line is Jebel Jais Flight in the UAE, which opened in early 2018. The trip is 9,284 feet (or 1.75 miles) long and begins atop the country's tallest peak, Jebel Jais (6,345 feet). At speeds of up to 150 kmph, soar past rugged mountain peaks and swoop through deep ravines. Three minutes of adrenaline-pumped adventure at 1680 meters over the Arabian Gulf will leave you with a once-in-a-lifetime sensation of magical enchantment. 2. Kayaking Trip in Florida and Bioluminescence There are several natural wonders on the planet that will leave you speechless. And bioluminescence is one of the finest. There is no better way to see bioluminescence than to arrange a bioluminescent kayaking excursion in Florida. A Florida kayaking trip on the Indian River lagoon, which takes place on the water and is just inches from a light show that many compare to the Northern Lights, is an experience unlike any other. There is no light pollution, only the sounds of nature and the smooth paddling of your oars across the water, allowing you to enjoy the show of shimmering, swirling blues made by the agitated dinoflagellates. 3. 11-Day Music Bash in Barcelona After being forced to postpone both its 2020 and 2021 seasons, Primavera Sound 2022 is going to make up for the lost time. The festival's organizers have announced a record 11 days' worth of music for its June 2022 edition in Barcelona’s Parc del Fòrum. Primavera Sound will take place from Thursday, June 2nd to Sunday, June 12th, and will include two massive weekends as well as a series of midweek events. This year commemorates the event's 20th anniversary, and it will include over 400 performers. That translates to an 11-day sun-kissed bender with the top names in music. 4. Studio Ghibli Theme Park Prepare for Hayao Miyazaki's next 'final' film at the world's first Studio Ghibli theme park, which is scheduled to open in fall 2022 near Nagoya (about three hours by train from Tokyo). The park will have five primary attractions, all of which will be filled with rides based on the studio's most famous films; there will also be stores, exhibitions, and gardens themed around blockbuster anime such as My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, and the Oscar-winning Spirited Away. 5. Hot Air Ballooning in Cappadocia You cannot by any means miss this experience in your lifetime which is a hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia, Turkey. A journey across this fascinating terrain costs between 130 and 180 Euros. The panoramic sight of hundreds of hot air balloons delicately ebbing and flowing over valleys and volcanic "fairy chimney" formations in Cappadocia, central Turkey, is possibly the most surreal experience. 6. Trekking to Tiger’s Nest Monastery in Bhutan This is for you if you want to go on an active vacation in 2022. A trip to the Tiger's Nest Monastery in Paro, Bhutan, is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. While Bhutan is charming in many ways, this one takes the cake. It's no longer a mystery, yet it's still as beautiful as ever. Trekking to this Buddhist monastery is a once-in-a-lifetime event, and the tales surrounding it only add to the allure. 7. Shopping At Istanbul’s Grand Bazar It is said to be the world's first shopping mall, dating back to 1460! It has almost 4000 stores, and it is popularly claimed that if you are not looking hard enough, you will not find it; it contains everything from gold jewelry to spices and tea, all in one spot! Get the experience of being surrounded by decades of history and while you are at it buy some too. 8. Full Moon Party in Koh Phangan, Thailand Let us hope that the legendary full moon parties on Thailand's Koh Phangan will be permitted to resume shortly. These were prohibited last year when COVID-19 spread over the world, and they are anticipated to resume soon. These gatherings began in 1985 and draw partygoers from all around the world. This is also known as Thailand's largest beach celebration and should not be missed.

9. La Tomatina Festival in Spain Every year, hundreds of travelers, warriors, and partygoers converge in Spain for La Tomatina, the world's largest fruit battle, to hurl tomatoes at each other. It began on the final Wednesday of August 1945. La Tomatina is one of the most joyful events in the world, with the goal of just having a good time and having fun. If that sounds tempting, make plans to visit Spain in mid-August (August 30, 2022), as the event is celebrated every year on the final Wednesday of August. 10. Game of Thrones Studio Tour It's a huge year for Thronies this year. Not only is a new Game of Thrones prequel set to hit our screens, but there's also a brand-new Westeros journey to go on. The official Game of Thrones Studio Tour began on February 4 at Linen Mill Studios near Belfast in Northern Ireland.
