11 Male Celebs Who Are Shorter Than You Think

An Illusion

They say the camera adds 10 pounds, but can it also add a few inches to height? While being short may be tough on the school grounds and may even hurt professional success, when it comes to Hollywood some of the biggest names in the biz didn’t let their height affect their careers.

Some massive celebrities made this list; from blockbuster movie legends, to Grammy award-winning superstars, and not one of them is over 5’10”!

Usher - 5 Feet 8 Inches

If R&B legend Usher and his confidence-oozing music was any indication, you’d think he was at least 6’0, but alas the R&B artist himself stands inches shy at 5’8.

He’s not at all phased by his height, and it has hardly affected his career with a total of 8 Grammy’s and 7 number 1 albums under his belt!

Kevin Hart - 5 Feet 4 Inches

We love a man who can laugh at himself and funnyman Kevin Hart has no problem poking fun of his height, and he often does during his stand-up routines and interviews.

And let's be real, would Kevin be the same if he was 6’0? We don’t think so.

Bruno Mars – 5 Feet 5 Inches

With 11 Grammys and 7 number one singles under this belt, Bruno Mars has hardly had a dull career. Debuting back in 2010, he’s since sold over 130 million records worldwide making him one for the best-selling music artists of all time.

His height might only be 5’5 but we want him to know, “you’re amazing just the way you are.”

James McAvoy - 5 Feet 7 Inches

Hollywood heartthrob James McAvoy is not only super talented but he’s also super humble.

Jack Black – 5 Feet 7 Inches

He may have played a giant in Gulliver’s Travel, but Jack Black is no more than 5 feet and 7 inches in real life. Considering his larger than life personality, we can see why this is surprising.

However, there’s no doubt that his acting skills are top-of-the-line. Honestly, who doesn’t love Kung Fu Panda and School Of Rock?

Dave Franco - 5 Feet 7 Inches

Now You See Me star Dave Franco comes up to around 5 feet and 7 inches, which means that he is considerably shorter than brother James Franco. After all, his older brother has four inches on him.

His height hasn’t exactly damaged his heartthrob reputation, as in 2018 a shirtless picture of Dave went viral on Twitter. And yes we were one of those that retweeted...

Jonah Hill - 5 Feet 7 Inches

When it comes to his physical appearance, it goes without saying that more people seem to focus on Jonah Hill’s weight instead of height. The 5 feet 7 inches actor has said that he has lost weight thanks to a clean diet and a nutritionist.

Martin Freeman – 5 Feet 6.5 Inches

With a 5 ft 6.5 height, its not surprising Martin Freeman was cast in The Hobbit. But the British actor himself has stated that he didn’t land the role because of his height.

Ben Stiller - 5 Feet 7 Inches
