She couldn't believe it, it wasn't her fault that she needed the dog. Them being their best friend was just a byproduct of them being her service dog. Surely that was understandable?
But when medical issues overlap and both parties need to respect the other's condition it can get... complicated sometimes. As a poster on Reddit would find out.
The Party
A Redditor was hosting a house party to celebrate them moving into the neighborhood. They invited all of their friends to come over, but one friend had a favor to ask.
He asked if he could bring his girlfriend. The Redditor knew her well and would have loved to see her too, there was only one problem.
Allergies
You see, the girlfriend in question had a service dog and needed them with her at all times. He understood that and had no qualms with them when they were hanging out outside. But inside his house would be a separate problem. He was allergic to dogs.
