Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard had a very small wedding. They paid a grand total of $142 to say their vows in a Beverly Hills courthouse in 2013. Since it was only the two of them at the courthouse, as a joke, some friends brought them a wedding cake after inscribed: “World’s Worst Wedding”. Well, world’s worst wedding or not, they seem to be pretty happy. They’ve been married a while, now, and have two daughters named Lincoln and Delta.
Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski What a whirlwind romance this was! Amanda and Thomas announced their engagement in September of 2016. Shortly after, Amanda announced she was pregnant. The two wasted no time in eloping together on March 12, 2017. According to the couple, they just slipped off into the country with their officiant and “did their thing”. “It was perfect,” Amanda said in an interview. The couples wrote their own vows and said them in front of Thomas’ dog Finn. Thomas was quoted saying it was “beautiful” and “everything that it should be. It was just the two of us talking to each other”. Only two weeks later, Amanda gave birth to a baby girl. From the sound of it, the couple and baby are doing very well. It’s almost like a fairytale!
Allison Williams and Ricky Van Veen
The 27-year-old Girls star, Allison Williams, and the 34-year-old co-founder of “College Humor”, Ricky Van Veen, tied the knot at the rustic Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming. The couple dated for three years before getting engaged in 2013. They married the year after. All sorts of stars attended the wedding, including Alison’s co-stars from Girls: Katy Perry, John Mayer, Barry Diller, Diane Von Furstenberg, Bruce Springsteen and Seth Meyers.
Tom Hanks officiated, and her father, Brian Williams, walked her down the aisle. It was a simple, beautiful ceremony that many have tried to recreate. The guests sat on pillows during the wedding, surrounded by nature. Allison’s gorgeous couture gown was Oscar de la Renta, inspired by style-icon Duchess Kate Middleton’s wedding gown.
Scarlet Johansson and Romain Dauriuc
This couple married on October 1, 2014, at The Ranch at Rock Creek in Philipsburg, Montana. They had their baby girl Rose with them throughout the festivities. Details on the actual ceremony are lacking, aside from one insider saying they saw a small tent set up by the river.
Sources do tell us that the couple went horseback riding and hiking and even attended a rodeo where Scarlett surprised the crowd by singing the national anthem. Even after such an awesome wedding, sadly, the couple is no longer together. Scarlet Johansson officially filed for divorce in March of 2017.
MARY-KATE OLSEN AND OLIVIER SARKOZY
The couple met when Mary-Kate was 25 and Olivier was 42 in 2012. Olivier reportedly wanted to get married after only 10 months of dating. Mary-Kate wasn’t so sure. The couple delayed their engagement until 2014.
One year later, they were married in 2015 in an intimate setting. They invited 50 guests to their Manhattan home. It was a quiet wedding and the guests were asked to turn in their cell phones at the door. While details are scarce we do know one: apparently, there were bowls of cigarettes everywhere.
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis
That 70’s Show fans rejoiced when these two tied the knot. The stars began dating in 2012 and got engaged two years later in 2014. In the same year, they also welcomed their first child. Kunis and Kutcher got married in 2015 and they were so secretive about it that the press didn’t find out until months afterward.
They kept it simple, which is apparently how Mila likes it. Her engagement ring might have been expensive, but her actual wedding band was only $90 on Easy. Recently, Mila gave birth to a little boy, making the Kutchers a family of four.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds
The gorgeous couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds kept their wedding super exclusive. Only Martha Stewart Weddings was allowed in to cover the event. From what we know, it took place at the Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina. Blake’s wedding gown was a silk tulle piece by Marchesa, Ryan Reynolds wore Burberry, and the couple’s wedding bands were designed by Lorraine Schwartz.
An avid baker, Blake designed a decadent dessert table all by herself and filled it with their favorite treats. The focal point of the reception was their vanilla-and-sour-cream wedding cake created by Maggie Austin Cakes from Alexandria, Virginia. The gorgeous confection was topped with sweet peach-apricot preserves and an extravagant earl grey milk-chocolate buttercream. Crazy delicious!
JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT AND TASHA MCCAULEY
Joseph is notorious for keeping his love life secret. His marriage to McCauley was no exception. He married Tasha at their Los Angeles home in December of 2014.
Tasha is the founder and CEO of Fellow Robots, a NASA-based robotics company. She gave birth to their first child, a baby boy, the following August. That’s all we know about the wedding and the marriage as the couple has chosen to keep their relationship extremely private.

The Sports Illustrated model and former baseball star were married at the gorgeous Meadowood Napa Valley Resort in St. Helena, California.
The couple dated for three years before getting engaged in 2015. According to sources, Hannah wore an amazing Vera Wang gown and the couple gave their vows in front of an intimate crowd of a hundred friends and family.

After a whirlwind relationship that lasted just a few months, Zoe and Marco secretly wed in 2013. Zoe said she knew that she wanted to be with him immediately, and places a high priority on listening to her heart. With Zoe, it’s ‘ride or die’. This relationship is certainly no exception.

Well, Misty wanted a wedding that didn’t involve a lot of preparation so she could sit back and actually enjoy the special day, stating that she had enough of the glitz and glamour from her career as a ballerina. She wanted a romantic and elegant wedding and packed the room with white and pink roses and pink hydrangeas. Misty wore an Inbal Dror gown with a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes, in keeping with the glamorous atmosphere she’d carefully created.
Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden
Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden got married in January of 2015 after a whirlwind seven-month relationship. They met through Benji’s cousin, Nicole Richie. It was love at first sight; Cameron said she knew right away that he was meant to be her husband. The couple chose not to have a flashy, publicized wedding.
Instead, they were married in their living room and had a party in the backyard on their tennis court. The couple had famous wedding planner Yifrat Orren make the magic so they could focus on each other. The pair set up a giant tent in their backyard and decked it out with glimmering candles and pure-white flowers. Guests began arriving shortly after 5 p.m., according to the press, and included the likes of Drew Barrymore, Nicole Richie, and Joel Madden.
MARGOT ROBBIE AND TOM ACKERLEY
This couple wed in a ceremony under a large, white, teepee-style tent at a luxurious property in Coorabell, Byron Bay, Australia. They wanted the wedding to be absolutely secret. To keep it that way, guests were given different locations to gather at, dotted across Byron Bay and the Gold Coast, where they were then picked up and delivered to the covert wedding venue.
Only 50 or so guests attended and Margot’s mother walked her down the aisle. Guests were asked to hand over their cell phones and cameras prior to the event. To ensure a total media blackout, a team of heavy security ringed the wedding until it was over.
JENNIFER ANISTON AND JUSTIN THEROUX
This happy couple had been engaged for three years before they finally said “I do” on August 5th, 2015. No cell phones were allowed at the ceremony no public or leaked pictures of the event exist anywhere. The private wedding took place in their cozy Bel Air home. In the days leading up to the event, the couple hid all of their party gear in a vacant $10.7 million mansion next door. It was an awesome night.
Jimmy Fallon officiated for them, and a few of the other guests included the likes of Orlando Bloom, Emily Blunt, Lake Bell, Jimmy Kimmel, Ellen DeGeneres, Chelsea Handler. All of Jennifer’s co-stars from FRIENDS were in attendance, with Courtney Cox was the maid of honor. As if the night couldn’t get any cooler, Sia performed her hit Chandelier for the couple and the cake featured mini muppet versions of Jennifer and Justin. If only there had been pictures!

This iconic couple was formally married in 2014 at a private chapel in Château Miraval. The family has an estate in the nearby French village of Torrens. There were only 20 guests in attendance, making it an incredibly intimate wedding. Angelina and Brad made sure their six children were involved in the planning and the ceremony. Master tailor, Lugi Massi, took dozens of the Brad and Angelina’s children’s own drawings and hand-sewed them into Angelina’s dress and veil.
Their eldest sons, Maddox and Pax, walked their mother down the aisle and daughter’s Zahara and Vivienne were her flower girls. Shiloh and Knox served as ring bearers, and the kids helped write the vow. Pax even baked his parents cake. Sadly, no matter how beautiful their wedding was and how happy the couple seemed, it wasn’t meant to last. The famous couple is now getting a divorce.
LEIGHTON MEESTER AND ADAM BRODY
Leighton and Adam were married oceanside in northern California in early 2014. It was a very small wedding, with minimal presence from the media, and there are not many more details about it.
The couple had their first child on August 4th of 2015. They named her Ario Day Brody. It’s too bad Gossip Girl wasn’t on the scene, she wouldn’t have let a little thing like privacy get in the way of all the juicy details!

Kerry and Nnamdi got married in 2013 in Hailey, Idaho. Washington’s parents signed the marriage certificate and Nnamdi’s sister officiated for them.
The ceremony was held at one of Kerry’s friend’s houses and guests were flown in on a private plane. Kerry is extremely private when it comes to her personal life, so the couple is rarely photographed together. However, we know that they have a daughter, Isabelle, and as a whole, the family seems very happy.

Penelope and Javier began dating in 2007. In 2010, this couple had a small, private wedding ceremony at a friend’s house in the Bahamas. What better location is there?!

Beyonce and Jay-Z: is there any couple that describes “relationship goals” better? The couple tied the knot on April 4th, 2008 at Jay-z’s 13,500 sq. ft. penthouse in Tribeca, New York. They kept the setting private and cozy, with only 40 guests in attendance.
Beyonce and Jay-Z also asked their guests were also asked to leave their mobile devices at home. The wedding reception, by contrast, was reportedly pretty extravagant. Beyonce had 70,000 white dendrobium orchids flown in from Thailand to decorate the event, and the party lasted until 5 a.m. The couple is still happily married and doing very well, and now have a daughter, Blue, and are expecting twins.
RACHEL WEISZ AND DANIEL CRAIG
After a crazy, whirlwind romance, this British couple exchanged vows in 2011 in a private ceremony in New York. Both had been married previously and both have children from their first marriages.
Rachel has a son, Henry, from a previous marriage to Darren Aronofsky, an American film-maker. Daniel Craig divorced his ex-wife, Fiona Loudon, in 1994 and has a young daughter named Ella. We don’t know much else about the couple’s wedding, as they chose to keep it very private.
GWYNETH PALTROW AND CHRIS MARTIN
In true, flighty Gwyneth Paltrow style, Paltrow and Martin eloped in 2003 without telling anyone, not even any of their family members! They received their marriage license from the Santa Barbara County Courthouse.
The couple now have a daughter, Apple, and a son, Moses. Unfortunately, this spontaneous marriage was not set to last, and Paltrow and Martin have since divorced.
GISELE BÜNDCHEN AND TOM BRADY
In a crazy twist of events, the couple were engaged in January 2009, planned the wedding in about 10 days, and were married at Santa Monica’s Catholic Church on February 26th. They kept it as a small, family-only affair that included their parents, actress Bridget Moynahan, and Brady’s 18-month-old-son.
Afterwards, the little group went back to the couple’s home and Tom Brady barbecued New York strip steaks and served some champagne with cake and ice cream for dessert. The couple followed up later with a second, more public ceremony on April 4th at Gisele’s estate in Costa Rica. The extended family attended the event, and the reception lasted for multiple days. Awesome, right?

This couple chose to secretly wed at Rolling Thunder Ranch resort in Ojai, California in 2014. They have since welcomed a baby boy to the family.
The two met when Alexis had a multi-episode character arc on Vincent’s Mad Men. She played Beth Dawes, a disturbed woman who later is involved with Vincent’s character, Pete Campbell. The couple has been in love ever since.
