"What is going on here?" - Ashley screamed, hardly believing her eyes. What was supposed to be the best day of her life was slowly turning into a nightmare.
Her future husband, the love of her life, was supposed to marry her in a moment. Instead, he turned away and kneeled in front of her...own sister! "There's something I need to tell you," - Will said. He halted for a second and then continued: "I really hope you'll understand me...".
Wedding Day
Ashley stood at the altar in her wedding dress, looking the most beautiful she ever had. She looked at her soon-to-be husband Will and gave him a wide smile. She couldn’t contain her excitement but it was the stark opposite when it comes to Will.
Everyone could notice that he was nervous and clammy. When he didn’t return her smile, Ashley wondered why. What exactly was running in Will’s head?
Their Dating History
Ashley had a huge, trusting heart and she was a typical American girl from Indiana. Will and Ashley had been dating for seven years, ever since they were sixteen years old.
Ashley was finally ready to get married, settle down and have kids. Will had always been there for Ashley throughout her journey but something was changing.
A Soft Spot For Her Sister
Ever since she came into this world, Hannah was suffering from Down’s syndrome. It meant that Ashley always had to take care of her younger sister. They were very close and Ashley would do anything for her sister.
Since Will and Ashley had been together for a very long time, he also had a huge soft spot for Hannah. Hannah was about to find out that Will’s feelings were a lot more serious than anyone could have ever imagined.
A Strong Bond
Ashley and Hannah were as close as two sisters could be. From the day Hannah was born, Ashley had been there for her. When Ashley started dating Will, she made sure to let him know what he was getting himself in for.
They were almost inseparable and remained together day and night! Will too, started getting closer and closer to Hannah, without revealing his true intentions to Ashley.
A Package Deal
It was pretty evident that Ashely and Hannah were a package deal. Ashley had already explained to Will that Hannah would be present with her at all times. Without any hesitation at all, Will agreed to this.
Will loved spending time with the two girls. Ashley too started thinking that she had finally found the man of her dreams but Will had some other plan in his evil mind.
Inching Closer To Each Other
Soon after they started dating, Ashley realized that she is head over heels in love with Will. Since they were each other’s first boyfriend and girlfriend, they had done everything together. She especially adored him to death for the close relationship he had with Hannah.
Ashley never batted an eye about how close the two were. But destiny had other plans and Ashley was soon going to find out how close her boyfriend was with her sister.
Dropping Hints
Ashley was sure that she wanted to tie the knot with Will. On countless occasions, she dropped many hints at marriage but she was sure that Will would get it eventually.
She was already twenty-five years old and almost all her friends were either already married or had kids. Ashley was becoming more and more restless with each passing day.
Another Woman On His Mind
Will wasn’t stupid and he understood the assignment pretty well. He knew that Ashley wanted him to ask her out for marriage. One fine day, he finally asked her to come away with him on a trip out of the blue. Ashley knew that her fairy tale moment was right around the corner.
Unfortunately for her, Will also had another woman on his mind. Although he was planning to get married to Ashley, he couldn’t stop thinking about this other woman.
The Proposal
Out of the blue, Will whisked Ashley away to a fancy resort out in the country. After reaching there, Ashley had a ball of a time as she was pampered a lot and was treated to a spa day.
After that, he texted her to meet him for a walk on the grounds. Will eventually got down on his one knee and proposed to Ashley. No brownie points for guessing that Ashley said yes straight away!
Two Sexy Ladies
Ashley wasn’t someone who did things with half effort and it was her wedding after all! To find her wedding dress, she enlisted the help of some of her friends, her mom, and of course, Hannah. In the meantime, she sent a selfie of herself and Hannah at the wedding dress shop to Will.
To which, Will replied “Two sexy ladies!” with fire emojis. Even when Will accidentally dropped hints along the way, Ashley still wasn’t prepared for what was about to happen on her wedding day!
The Wedding Day
Following the protocol of a typical wedding day, Ashley spent her whole morning getting her perfect hair and makeup done. To liven up her mood, Ashley was listening to her favourite music all morning and had a cheeky glass of champagne to steady her nerves.
She still couldn’t believe that she was about to marry the love of her life. Sadly, destiny and Will had other plans.
Missing Hannah
Ashley arrived at the church only to realize that the most important member was missing – Hannah! She started having a panic attack because there was no way she was going to go ahead with it without Hannah.
Since they were already running later and Hannah wasn’t answering her phone, Ashley went inside.
Felt Like A Princess
Holding back her tears and the second wave of panic attack Ashley walked up the aisle to her beloved Will. All the eyes that were present there, were on Ashley.
Ashley had never felt like more of a princess until that moment. For a moment, she forgot her sadness that Hannah was still missing.
Something Wasn’t Right With Will
As she went closer to Will to hug him, Ashley could sense that he seemed nervous and sweaty. Ashley could tell that something was seriously wrong with Will.
Although she presumed that he was just nervous to exchange vows in front of everyone, she was soon going to find the real reason behind his nervousness.
Hannah In A Wedding Dress!
Even after they had shakily read their vows to one another, Ashley could sense that something was seriously off with Will.
Suddenly, everyone heard the chapel door swing open. It was Hannah in a wedding dress! No one could understand what was going on!
Gets Down On One Knee, Again!
Hannah came between the newlyweds. Ashley had just one question this entire time - Had they been together behind her back the whole time?
Soon, Will got down on his one knee and asked Hannah to be his best friend forever. To which Hannah replied yes and they hugged.
Overflowing Emotions
Ashley broke down in tears because she was overcome with the cuteness and wholesomeness of it all.
She realized that Will was truly the sweetest man in the world to include Hannah in such a touching and kind way.
Best Day Ever
For multiple reasons, it turned out to be the best day ever for Ashley. Not only was she married to the love of her life, she also realized that she had made the right choice.
Ashley couldn’t contain her joy that Hannah had been included in her ceremony.
Best Friend vows
Hannah and Will also took their own ‘best friend’ vows. They promised each other that they would remain best friends forever.
After reading their vows, the pastor asked them to hug each other which they gladly did!
The Perfect Man
All this time, Ashley couldn’t help but wonder that she had finally found the perfect man to spend her life with.
As the wedding party danced the night away, Ashley rested his head upon Will’s shoulder and thanked him for the heart-warming gesture. Hannah joined the party too and hugged both of them.
