A Salute

The Lt. marched to Chris and glared at him. It took a second for Chris to notice, who seemed more confused than ever. Why did he look so upset anyway?
Lt. Fredericks’ eyes were bulging, his nostrils were flared, and his face was red.
In front of the other patrons, he shouted, “Enlisted, even if we are out of the base, I do expect you to pay proper respect and salute when you see an officer!”
