Feeling Uneasy
Chris felt uneasy with the interaction he had just had with Fredericks. There was dark foreshadowing in his words that wasn’t hard to see. He just wondered what he meant by it.
He could have reported the threat to the higher-ups, but with Fredericks already discharged, it wouldn’t have done anything.
He would just have to ride it out, but he had no idea what was coming his way.
