Mom’s Thank-You Note to Her Ex’s Girlfriend Goes Viral

Relationships are a lot of work. They can get even more complicated when children and exes are involved. This woman had no idea what she was getting herself into when she started dating Corey.

Things soon got very ugly. She found herself in a very difficult situation. And if it wasn't for his ex-girlfriend, who knows what might have happened to her.

Staying Out Of His Life

Audrey Loving wanted to stay out of her ex's life as much as possible. But she knew that children listen all the time, so she logged into her Facebook account and sent a message to Corey's new girlfriend.

But she never expected to receive such a positive response from his new woman.

In Love

Audrey was just 18 years old when she met Corey Henry and fell in love. He felt the same way about her and wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.

The couple soon got engaged and began to plan their future together. Sadly, things don't always work out as you plan.

First Child

It wasn't long before Audrey gave birth to their first child — a little girl named Riley. She brought them so much happiness and joy every single day.

But Audrey and Corey's relationship wasn't always moonshine and roses. They both worked as hard as possible to make it work.

Struggles

Corey's job often kept the family apart for several weeks. Audrey had to stay alone at home and take care of their daughter while her boyfriend was working in another country.

This and other daily struggles soon put them in a position they never thought they would be in.

Getting A Divorce

Audrey and Corey both agreed they only had one choice. They eventually decided to get divorced. While they knew it was the right decision to make for themselves, they were both worried about how it might affect their daughter.

They decided to co-parent their little girl as best as they could. Corey made sure to be involved in Riley's life as much as possible. He spent almost every weekend with her. But then, things took a new turn.

New Woman

Just when it looked like the pair had their new life figured out, a new woman entered the picture. Corey got a new girlfriend and Audrey was scared about how it might affect their arrangement.

While she knew that one day both of them would move on and find new partners, she didn't expect it would be so soon. So, who was this new woman?

Feeling Worried

Audrey was worried and anxious. Would Corey's new girlfriend be a negative influence on her daughter? Would Riley and her get along?

What if she loses her daughter to this new woman? Audrey had no other choice but to wait and see what happened.

Drawing The Line

When it became clear that Corey and his new girlfriend were becoming serious, Audrey knew that she needed to make some things clear to the two lovebirds.

She wanted to make it clear to the new woman who Riley's real mother was.

List Of Instructions

She wrote a list of instructions for Corey's new girlfriend to follow. She gave her simple instructions such as not leaving Riley alone in the bathroom and feeding her there times a day.

Whitney, however, responded to her texts in a way that would stun everyone.

Regular Updates

Instead of getting frustrated with Audrey, Whitney regularly sent Audrey photos of her and her daughter together and sent text updates.

Audrey soon began to think that she may have been too harsh on his ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend.

Not The "Evil Stepmother"

Audrey soon realized that Whitney wasn't the "evil stepmother" she thought she was. Instead, Whitney was a polite, friendly woman who liked spending time with her daughter.

When Audrey learned that Whitney was tucking her 4-year-old daughter into the bed at night, she didn't get jealous. Instead, she wrote her a thank-you note.

No Reason To Feel Jealous

“Why do all these moms act so spiteful and jealous towards the other woman?” Audrey wrote in her Facebook post that has since gone viral.

“No one said it was easy trying to be a mother to a kid you didn’t have. So when someone is trying, don’t push them away!”

The Message

"Because they DON'T need the drama, they WILL leave, and then you're stuck with someone who is the evil stepmom," Audrey continued.

"Yes, they exist! I see them everywhere! A kid can have two moms because in my eyes, the more people that love her, I'm happy! I would never make her feel like an outsider; I'm extremely thankful for this girl."

Love More Hate Less

"Ladies, grow up and focus on being a good mom. Love more hate less!" Audrey continued.

Do you agree?
