Mom Hears Noises In The Ceiling, Finds Man She Split With 12 Years Ago Living In Her Attic

Tracy felt like she was in a horror movie. Her hands were shaking as she called the police on her crazy ex-boyfriend, who had been hiding in her attic and spying on her.

She feared that the authorities wouldn't get there on time.

Strange Sounds

One day, Tracy started hearing strange sounds coming from her attic. At first, she thought her children were playing in the attic, but they all said they hadn't been up there.

She figured the noises might very well be coming from a squirrel or a raccoon that had somehow got into the attic. So, she decided to call Animal Control.

It Didn't Stop

She had to wait until Monday because Animal Control didn't work on weekends. But whoever was in her attic seemed to have other plans.

That same night, Tracy was woken up by loud creaking sounds in her bedroom ceiling.

"Poltergeist Stuff"

“There was some poltergeist stuff going on," she recalled thinking. This was no square or raccoon!

She was too afraid to go to the attic to investigate, so she threw a blanket over her head and went to sleep. The following day, she took action.

She Was Lost

Tracy didn't know what to do. Should she call the police? A priest? Animal Control?

The next morning, Tracy told her son and his friends about the noises in the ceiling and asked them to check it out.

In The Attic

The three friends went to the attic while Tracy waited for them downstairs. Nobody was prepared for what they were about to find up there.

As soon as they stepped inside the attic, a strong nasty smell hit them immediately. Something was very wrong.

A Body

The men saw garbage and dirty clothes all around the floor.

Then, they saw a person lying next to the heating unit. They couldn't believe their eyes. Who was he, and what was he doing in Tracy's attic?

The Stranger

They woke him up and told him to get out. The man stood up and rushed downstairs.

Tracy caught a glimpse of him and realized that she knew him. It was her ex-boyfriend. But what was he doing in her home?

Ex-Boyfriend

She called the police, but the man had already escaped. But, Tracy was sure that she had just seen her ex.

The pair met 12 years ago when he came to do some housework for her, and they started going out shortly after.

A Criminal

However, when Tracy discovered he had a criminal record, she broke up with him. The man was hurt and wanted to get back together with her, but Tracy didn't want to see him again.

He was furious and stole her truck.

He Was Harassing Her

He was later caught by the police and served a prison sentence. While he was in prison, he continued to harass Tracy by sending her letters telling her that he wanted her back.

When he was released from prison, Tracy heard a rumor that he had moved to another town.

Uninvited Guest

The police searched Tracy's attic, where her ex was hiding. According to the authorities, he stayed there for at least two weeks.

“He had packed all the old coats and jackets into the heating unit and was sleeping in the heating unit,” Tracy said.

Stalker

The police also found a lot of plastic cups on the floor, which he used as a toilet.

The authorities discovered that Tracy's ex-boyfriend had rigged the air vents in her house so he could watch her in her bedroom.

Disgusting

“It’s got me flabbergasted,” she said. “How can you look at someone through an air vent?”

To make matters worse, no one knows how he got inside her home, as the family always locked the doors and windows.

They Couldn't Find Him

Unfortunately, the police weren't able to find the man. "I want him to be charged with it," said Tracy.

“It could be somebody else he does the same thing to, but she might not be so lucky.”
