Can’t Get Through
As she was cleaning the fish for lunch, she felt something hard inside its belly. She cut it open, expecting to find a new piece of lost jewelry. But it wasn’t jewelry. Her heart skipped a beat as she examined it closer.
She rubbed her fingers through the blood and the guts but she couldn’t get the object. The smell was horrid and it stuck to her hair and her clothes.
“Why can’t I get it?” she thought to herself as she pushed her fingers through the dead fish’s body.
