He couldn't believe what he had discovered, the poor thing didn't look like it was last long all on its own. He knew what he had to do.
But he had no idea what this poor little fella would grow into. Actually, he didn't have the faintest clue what the creature actually was. But he would find out all too soon.

Jeff Longo was a kind and caring guy, so when he found the poor creature on the pavement he didn't hesitate, he scooped it up and nursed it back to health. Having no idea what it was.
He had found a new best friend, it was just going to grow into something that he didn't expect.
A Flying Squirrel!
The animal that Longo named Biscuit would grow into a beautiful flying squirrel! Now that he knew what they were he could better take care of them with the best possible diet and habitat.
Biscuit loves to ride around in Longo's breast pocket and the two are inseparable. How's that for a chance meeting that would lead to a beautiful bond.
