Meet Valeria Lukyanova
Valeria Lukyanova was born in the Soviet Union in 1985. Her hometown is situated in Moldova and goes by the name Tiraspol. Valeria’s family had unique dynamics as her mother used to work for the military while her father was a builder and part-time DJ.
Valeria isn’t the only child as she also has a sister named Olga. Olga has always looked up to Valeria for her beauty. Valeria’s life took a turn when her family decided to move to Ukraine when she was 16.
Valeria’s Doll Collection
Just like every other girl, Valeria used to adore Barbie dolls to death. According to her parents, she never used to leave her Barbie doll like it was a part of her.
She also had quite an extensive collection of them. Needless to say, her love of Barbie dolls surely played the role of a precursor to her current head-turning look!
Stand Out From The Crowd
Valeria’s parents were very hard working as they used to put in their heart and soul to make ends meet. They often struggled to give their daughters everything they wanted.
This tough phase in her life made Valeria realize that she didn’t want to live the same conventional lifestyle. She vowed to do something different and stand out from the crowd.
Valeria’s Teenage Years
Valeria was a rebellious teen, just like almost every one of us during our teenage years. Valeria and her father Valeri had many disagreements because he was very strict.
She started opting for more of a goth look by dying her hair pitch black. Not only this but she also started having troubles with the school authorities. She later revealed in an interview that other kids started making fun of her, calling her a ‘witch’.
Enjoyed Getting Negative Reactions
Unlike others, Valeria didn’t let bullying pull her down. Instead, she kept looking the way she wanted, despite the negative comments that she used to get.
She often calls herself ‘energy vampire’ because according to her, she thrives off of other people’s negative energy. This ‘energy vampire’ realized in her rebellious phase that she enjoyed seeing negative reactions of people.
Makeup And Hair Expert
“I have always liked to experiment with my looks” Valeria claimed in an interview. Since she wanted to experiment with her looks she got into the world of hair and makeup.
And guess what? She got exceptionally good at both. What made her even more confident in this particular field was her natural beauty.
Model In The Making
Valeria had an early realization that she wanted a different lifestyle and the best way to do that was modelling. Her natural beauty obviously assisted in opting for this lifestyle.
Without even altering anything about her appearance, bystanders were always in awe of her doll-like features. This further boosted her confidence in opting for the lifestyle that she is currently leading.
Miss Diamond
Taking part in beauty pageants is probably the best way to enter the field of modelling. Every budding model takes part in beauty pageants. Valeria was no different and it was in 2007 when she made a major breakthrough in her modelling career.
She won the title of “Miss Diamond Crown of the World,” a worldwide 300-contestant beauty pageant. This particular pageant had no rules about cosmetic surgery. The photoshoots that she got after winning the pageant, gained her quite the following in Russian media.

It didn’t take long for Valeria to gain a worldwide following. A major part of her fame was attributed to her Barbie-like features that were borderline inhuman.
She started getting more and more features like for the American blog Jezebel. She also did a photoshoot for the fashion magazine V with famed fashion photographer Sebastian Faena.
Sceptical Public
With all the newfound fame, scepticism of the general public came complimentary. Most people didn’t believe that a human could naturally look like a Barbie doll without plastic surgery.
Some media outlets went as far as claiming that her pictures were fabricated by photoshop. But if you think that Valeria looks unreal now, just wait for your mind is about to get blown completely!

Valeria’s rebellious personality didn’t leave her stride even when she turned into an adult. She knew that she would have to prove the public wrong.
She started thwarted the notions surrounding her by starting her own YouTube channel and making more television appearances. This helped her show the world that she is indeed a real person and that she’s not just about photoshop magic.
Bad Rumours
In an interview given by Valeria, she claimed that some people had maliciously tried to alter her younger photos. This was done with the intent of showcasing that she has had multiple cosmetic procedures done.
It gets better though. Or worst. Some people even spread rumours that she had some of her ribs removed to achieve her insanely small 19-inch waist.
Valeria’s Disagreement
Although Valeria did agree that she had breast augmentation surgery, she still denies having any other type of cosmetic procedure done. She even insisted that her doll-like facial features and impossible measurements are all the result of her makeup skills and genetics.
To prove her point, she even posted videos of herself showing that she has no surgery scars.on her stomach.
Strict Diet Plan
Since a model’s career is entirely dependent on their looks, they have to follow a very strict diet regime. They achieve their unattainable figures by cutting out sugar and carbs and reducing their portion sizes.

Valeria weighs 100 lbs and her height stands at 5’7. She claims that her body’s measurements are mostly the result of her strict diet and exercise regimen. To maintain her physique, she mostly consumes a raw vegetarian liquid diet.
This strict diet regime includes eating only uncooked, unprocessed foods in liquid form. This shouldn’t surprise you but she eats very little, and only at certain times of the day. But wait, it gets even crazier than that!
Valeria’s Exercise Routine
Apart from maintaining a strict diet, Valeria also has a very strict exercise routine. Her Instagram page is filled with photos and videos of her working out.
In order to maintain her super slim figure, she restricts herself from eating anything for several hours after her workout session. And guess what? She does not drink water while eating. Do you need something even more controversial?
Breatharianism
In 2014, Valeria began training herself to adhere to a “breatharian” lifestyle. If you don’t know about it, it is a controversial pseudoscientific lifestyle that claims that one only needs sunlight and air in order to survive.
She eventually stopped practising it, stating this “I still would like to do breatharianism someday. But right now I am far from it, and I do not know when I will do it.”
Obsession With Fair Skin
Even though she posts quite a few photos of her enjoying the great outdoors on social media, Valeria tries to stay out of the sunlight as much as possible.
It shouldn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that the reason why she does this is that she prefers her skin to be fair.
Makeup-Free Valeria
Since there are a lot of rumours and controversies surrounding her appearance, Valeria often posts photos of herself without any makeup at all.
She has said in an interview that she doesn’t understand why so many people are ashamed to not wear makeup. She also said that people with flawless features “like hers” can still look good without it.
Not Just A Pretty Face
By now, you might think that Valeria’s life revolves around her looks only. But that isn’t completely true as she doesn’t like herself to be called ‘human barbie’.
She thinks it’s a bit insulting and dehumanizing. This is the reason why she wants people to acknowledge a completely different side of her: Her spiritual journey.

Valeria’s spiritual endeavours are quite interesting as well. Her YouTube channel focuses on new-age spirituality. Valeria also teaches students how to leave their physical bodies and travel into their spiritual bodies.
Not only this but she is also an instructor at the School of Out-of-Body Travel. Valeria’s spiritual name is Amatue, which she claims came to her in a dream.
Her Musical Journey
Singing under her spiritual name Amatue, Valeria also has a new-age spiritual music career. Valeria has recorded two albums so far and she claims to be a composer and opera singer.

Valeria’s Spiritual Journey Started At A Young Age
If you think that she got into spirituality after getting famous, you are dead wrong. Valeria claims that when she was as young as 12 years old, she would see spirits from other dimensions. It gets spookier.
Her mother used to draw a circle of chalk around her bed so that she wouldn’t be afraid, saying, “Do you see this line? They won’t cross it. Don’t be afraid.”
A Troubled Mind
Just to make sure everything was alright with her mental health, Valeria once decided to see a psychiatrist. She said to her psychiatrist that she hears voices all the time and see different being as well.
The psychiatrist later claimed that she was lucky that she had come to him because he believed that she was a psychic. Any other doctor would’ve thought she was completely insane!
A Man In Her Past Life
Valeria likes to think that she was likely a man in many of her past lives.
She also believes that the aim of her life is to “come to this planet to help people to realize that it is necessary to move from the role of the ‘human consumer’ to the role of ‘human demi-god.’”
Loves Her Haters
Given how popular and controversial she has been, Valeria still gets quite a bit of hate online. But guess what? Just like her younger version, she still thrives off of the negative energy.
“Actually, I really love [my haters], care about them, and want them to be happy,” Valeria said in a Vice documentary.
Online Threats
Unfortunately, Valeria has also received countless threats online. But in 2014, things took a serious turn when she was assaulted by two men in front of her home after receiving anonymous violent threats.
She had to be hospitalized but later, she was released after one week.

Valeria has a closely-knit friend circle and they often perform magic rituals together. She claims that her ‘Spiritual Soulmate’ Dominika and herself have come from the planet Pleiades.
Valeria also claims that they both were reincarnated on many different planets in the past.

Valeria might be married today but she has no desire of being a part of a ‘nuclear family’. According to Valeria, having children is “selfish”.
