43. Both Of Our Cars Got Totaled
About a week ago I was stopped in traffic. For a second I looked at the car behind me which was about to reach the line of stopped cars and briefly thought “That car is going to hit me… Nah.”
I didn’t really have a whole lot of reason to think this because he was far enough back to stop in time. I took my eyes off the rearview mirror.
A couple of seconds later there’s a crunch and the car lurches forward. And that’s how both our cars got totaled.
