His Food Kept Disappearing
Actor Joe Cummings and his girlfriend had been living in their apartment for over two years. One day, he noticed that almost all of his food had gone missing.
At first, he didn't think much of it. But one day, after grocery shopping, he couldn't help but notice almost all of his food was gone.
Disappointed
Joe and his girlfriend had always been honest with eachother, so he couldn't understand why she wouldn't just come clean about this. He knew she was taking his food, but she wouldn't admit to it.
Most of his food would be gone by the morning. And one day, he'd had enough.
Catching In The Act
His girlfriend kept denying everything, so Joe had no other option than to install a hidden camera in the house and catch her in the act.
But what he saw on the footage was much worse than he expected.
Food Thief
Joe went to the store and bought a security camera. He didn't tell anyone about this, not even his best friend. He was sure that it was his girlfriend who was eating his food in the middle of the night.
But he wasn't prepared for the truth.
The Beginning
At the beginning of the video, we can see how Joe leaves his kitchen, preparing to catch his girlfriend stealing his snacks.
Then, a few hours later, a woman he had never seen before comes down from an upper-level storage unit into his kitchen. What he saw next shook him to the core.
The Real Snack Muncher
The strange woman crawls onto a nearby kitchen table. She then takes a booth and puts it at the right angle so she can leap down. Joe couldn't believe his eyes. Who was this woman? And what was she doing in his home?
In the meantime, the woman continues to roam around his kitchen. She then opens his fridge and starts drinking straight out of a carton of juice.
In Shock
Then, she pees in the kitchen and continues her search for snacks in the pantry. Joe was furious. Now he knew who was stealing his food.
He was unintentionally sharing it with a homeless woman who had been living in his apartment.
Interruption
But then, something interrupted her. She heard someone making their way towards the kitchen. It was Joe.
She immediately found a hiding spot and waited until he left the kitchen again. The homeless woman then continues to drink and snack on whatever she can before retreating to her hiding spot.
Not Alone
The next morning, Joe enters the kitchen and drinks from the same carton of juice as the homeless woman did a few hours prior. He still wasn't aware that he wasn't alone in the kitchen.
Joe watched the footage until the end. He couldn't believe what he had found.
Breaking The News
Joe later shared the news in his YouTube video, saying, "So, I kept on finding food missing in my apartment that I knew I wasn't eating. I confronted my girlfriend who lives with me about it, and she claims she wasn't eating it."
He immediately called the police. But would they catch the woman?
Not Safe
Joe didn't feel safe in his own home after watching the video. He wanted to move out as soon as possible.
But what the police officers told him shocked him even more.
The Uninvited Guest
The homeless woman living in his house was arrested and later discovered to have been living in the apartment for over 14 days.
"I have no idea how she got in there," Joe said. He always made sure to close all the windows and doors.
Joe's Theory
The only way in is through the window as I am on the top floor, and there is a fire escape,” Joe continued.
"The police think she was probably coming in to rob me when I was gone and decided to stay in the crawl space."
It's Not The First Time
Apparently, this isn't the first time the police have come across something like this.
