Simone Dumont was celebrating her 93rd birthday with her family when she heard a loud knock on her door. The two police officers informed her that they had received a tip and asked her to step outside.

Simone's daughter knew how much her mother enjoyed watching crime shows, especially the show Cops. Simone never missed an episode of the show, and even her grandchildren got hooked on it.

When she was asked if she enjoyed the experience, Edie said: "Oh yeah, handcuffs and all."
