Party Girls
His family might have been focusing on the meal, but part of him kept an eye on the drama across the room.
Loud cheers, smeared lipstick, and streaky eyeliner mixed with the sparkle of evening clothes and stench of perfume. These girls had no idea what they were in for.
Patient Parking
The plan was for a nice dinner out with his family.
However, Tom had been sitting in the parking lot for what seemed like an eternity, waiting for the car to leave. He smiled and waved at the car as it finally pulled out. But that’s when another car appeared out of nowhere.
Stolen Spot
A car full of young, loud girls raced up to the empty spot and stole it before Tom could even put his car into drive.
He felt the hairs on his neck stand up and the muscles in his face clench. So rude. Who did they think they were? He rolled down his window.
Too Bad
“Excuse me, but I was waiting for that space,” he said, trying to keep calm.
“Too bad. Your name wasn’t on it,” the young driver replied with a nasty, smug smirk. The girls piled out and laughed as they went into the Applebee’s. It was then he decided the girls would learn a lesson.
Waiter's Help
It was a vague idea in the beginning. He ate his steak and enjoyed the immediate company.
But a couple of glances revealed the girls were slamming back shots and getting very drunk – including the driver. So much for sober responsibility. He motioned to the waiter. “Want to make an easy $20?”
Keyed Car
The guy smiled and agreed. Tom slipped him the cash.
“Wait until ten minutes after we leave. Then, go up to those girls and tell them someone called with a message - someone keyed their car and they should have parked somewhere else.” Tom paid the bill and his family left. He took out his keys with a wicked grin…
Huge Reaction
It was a simple but decent lesson about consequences. But, the event didn’t end there.
He called the waiter and asked how things had gone. The intoxicated group had utterly flipped out immediately called the police and had the entire restaurant staring.
Causing A Scene
Everybody in the restaurant muttered to themselves, pointing at the group of girls while they made a scene. They were clearly drunk, not to mention aggressive.
They were pacing back and forth in the restaurant, their arms in the air and their faces turned up. The staff tried to calm them down, but the girls weren’t having any of it. They never expected what would happen next.
Driving Home
While this all unfolded, Tom was driving home feeling satisfied the girls were going to get what was coming to them. Once Tom arrived home, his family got out of the car but Tom stayed inside the car.
“What’s wrong?” His wife asked. “I’ll be 10 minutes I just need to do something,” he said, before speeding away. His wife had no idea where he was going, but Tom was heading back to face the girls. He had to see them fall apart for himself.
Stumbling Outside
The group of girls stumbled outside the restaurant and waited for the cops to arrive. They were getting more aggressive now and had started drinking more alcohol. Finally, ten minutes later the cops arrived.
Officer Jones was one of these officers and it was safe to say he was pretty tired. You see, he had been on shift since 8 this morning, so he was flagging. His 5 cups of coffee had seemed to wear off. When he arrived at the scene, he never expected to find what he did
Letting Out A Sigh
When he saw the group of girls causing a commotion, he let out a sigh. Just what he needed. He takes a sip of coffee before getting out of the car with his fellow officer.
Slowly and trying his best to stay calm, he approached the group of girls, but he had no idea what he would later uncover.
A Mess
The group of girls was stumbling around outside and shouting out. They were swearing and drinking, and not really making much sense.
Fellow townspeople walked past the group, their heads down while silently judging them. The cops approached the girls and asked what was wrong, in which they explained the situation. It seemed like an easy enough job to check the car, but what the cops found instead turned their worlds upside down.
Smell Of Booze
Even though the gaggle of girls had insisted there was damage, the cops took a thorough look and said they were mistaken.
There was nothing there. Not a single scratch. Did Tom actually key their car? But what the officers did find, was far more important.
15 Year Cop Career
Officer Smith had been a cop for 15 years and he had never seen anything like this before. He never expected to find this, especially with a group of young girls.
He lets out a sigh of frustration, internally thinking about what the youth of today has come to. If this was his daughter, he knew there would be hell to pay.
Charging Them
You see the cops found bottles of alcohol in their car and they were clearly hammered. But some of the girls were on the verge of passing out. It was a disgusting yet frightening sight to see.
Even though it was enough to charge them, the cops let them go, got in their car … and then waited. What were they up to?
Arrested
Staggering and swaying, the group turns their back on the cops and all loiter inside the car. After a few minutes, the driver manages to put the key into her ignition.
The cops watch her while she does this, not knowing what would happen next. The girls’ car starts up and they proceed to drive. But the cops weren’t having this. No way.
Making A Move
BAM! The cops turn on their lights and dive in on the group. Their sirens piercing the silence in the air. The group of girls screams and every single member of the group burst into tears.
But while all this unfolded, a certain somebody was sat in his car parked across the road. And he was loving every single minute of the girls’ unfortunate night.
Across The Road
While the group of girls’ world was getting turned upside down, Tom was parked across the road laughing hysterically. This was just what he wanted to happen.
He nearly choked on his coffee when he saw the reaction on the girls’ faces. But what would the cops charge these girls with?
Citations Galore
What had started as extreme rudeness had landed the group with DUIs and public drunkenness citations.
It wasn’t any stretch to imagine the charges were less but the bad-mannered youths probably argued their way to a stronger penalty. It truly ended up an enormous lesson. But did Tom actually key the group's car? Or was it some part of a psycho?
The Truth
You see, when Tom left the restaurant and got his keys out in front of the girls’ car, he never actually damaged their car. Instead, he put them in the ignition of his own car and drove away – with no damage done.
He knew they would cause a scene regardless of if the damage was done to their car. So it was perfect to see his revenge he had gone to plan. These girls had got exactly what was coming to them. As for the public’s reaction?
Opinions
Well, aside from the server saying it was the easiest $40 he had ever made (Tom tipped him another $20 a few days later).
Some people think it was going too far for the “minor” deed of taking a parking space. Others disagreed…
What They Deserved
Many voices chimed in, saying it was exactly what they deserved.
There was also one larger point that a few people pointed out. Tom’s revenge might have been simple, but the result was enormous. Without his plan, the group probably would have done something incredibly dangerous. People could have got hurt … or worse. What about Tom?
Questioning The Truth
Some question if the story was even true – since they cannot confirm any names, find any police reports, or produce any pictures (we all know that at least someone who would have taken at least one blurry photo).
But does that even matter? There are two lessons here for everyone here.
First Lesson
First, never underestimate your elders. It might be cliché, but it’s still true. This can be children to parents or even grown kids with the elderly.
They are often wiser and far cleverer in ways of dealing with problems – not to mention vast past experiences to draw upon. The second lesson?
Second Lesson
Being a brat will only last so long … then life (or karma, if you believe in such things) will eventually come back and bite you in the bum.
And if you’re really unlucky, that bite could end up as jail time and a spot on the permanent record.
