Chad Morris was planning to spend some time with his parents, but instead, he got to meet a family of bears who decided to occupy his car.
He couldn't believe his eyes when he saw a bear's head popping out of the front seat window...
The Beginning
It started like any other day. Morris woke up, ate breakfast, and went for a swim in the river.
Then, he heard his mother screaming for help. She needed him to come back. What happened?
Scared
Moris rushed to the tent to find out what was going on. There, he saw his parents standing next to his car. They were shaking with fear and almost crying.
What he saw inside the car left him at a loss for words.
Bears
A family of bears had occupied their car while he was away.
“As soon as I saw them, they were walking up to my car, and the three cubs hopped in,” he recalls. So what did he do next?
Exploring
Morris couldn't believe what was happening. The bears' mother was watching them while the three bear cubs got inside the vehicle from the driver's seat.
The cubs started exploring the car, and they seemed to really like it!
Curious Cubs
The bears were curious about everything inside the car. They sniffed and touched every single item inside.
But how did the bear family react when they saw Morris and his parents?
Not Bothered
Surprisingly, the bear family was fully aware that Morris and his parents were watching them, and they didn't seem to mind it in the slightest.
But Morris and his parents knew that eventually, they would have to remove the cubs from their car.
Taking Photos
“They saw us standing around taking pictures, but they never bothered us,” Morris said.
He was surprised that the bears' mother wasn't threatened by their presence.
Bored
After spending some time exploring the car, the bear cubs got bored and climbed out of the vehicle.
Fortunately for them, there was another car in the driveway, and they decided to explore it as well!
Little Explorers
“They crawled out of the windows, and two of them stood up next to my mom and dad’s car, but their windows were up,” Morris recalls.
But what did the bear family do next?
Returning Home
“After five more minutes of walking around the cars, they went back down the mountain together, off in the woods,” he continued.
As soon as the bear family left, Morris and his parents rushed to the car to see if the bear cubs had caused any damage inside.
In Great Condition
Fortunately for them, the cubs had really good manners, as they left the car in great condition.
There wasn't any serious damage to the vehicle aside from a few scratches.
Just Some Scratches
“They tore a chunk out of the leather on the driver’s seat by the headrest and left scratches in a few spots on the interior,” Morris said.
It turns out that the bear family was quite hungry when they occupied their car.
Hungry
The bear family attempted to try some of Morris's protein shake as the lid had some marks on it.
And they also scratched their football!
Unforgettable
However, overall, the bear family hadn't caused any damage to the car, and everything inside was in great condition.
Morris says he will never forget this vacation and hopes that the bear family is doing well these days.
