Woman Senses Storm Coming, Stewardess Laughs At Her

Tears Streaming Down Her Face

Tears streamed down her face as the plane shook again, “See, I told you this would happen.” The stewardess had on a face of ridicule just a moment earlier, but she wasn’t laughing now. She had a look of pure horror on her face.

She realized that Joanna was right. Her laughing had turned to beg. She was sorry that she hadn’t believed her. But now it was too late, and now everyone was in peril.

Born In San Diego

She was born in San Diego and grew up with her mother. But now that she was 27, she lived in another state, California. She loved the sunny beaches of Los Angeles but tried to stay out of the “glamor culture” that seemed around every corner.

She didn’t move to Los Angeles to be discovered or find a career in Hollywood like a lot of people do. She moved there because she wanted to spread her wings and enjoy her independence. But this didn’t mean she didn’t miss her mother dearly.

Joanna Johnson

She moved to Los Angeles when she turned 21. It had been six years of finding her feet in a new state. She finally felt like it was her second home, but nothing could beat her first home, where her mother was.

Joanna Johnson believed she was different from most others her age. She considered herself somewhat of a hippie. She believed in animal rights and acoustic songs in front of a campfire. But she was one thing more than anything else.

A Spiritualist

Joanna’s mother raised her with her beliefs. She could still remember her getting her first quartz crystal for her 10th birthday. That sparked a passion and a set of beliefs that would stay with her forever,

She was a spiritualist, she believed that energy surrounded everyone everywhere, and sometimes it could even warn people of impending doom - if they knew how to look for the signs.

Missing Her Mother

Even after six years on her own, Joanna never felt like Los Angeles was her first home. There was one thing missing that she knew she could never replace - it was a mother’s love.

She always felt close to her mother through their shared beliefs. She knew just by thinking about her mother. Those thoughts carried energy and weight. But she had no idea what difference it would make.

A Visit

Joanna decided that it had been way too long since she saw her mother. She impulsively bought a plane ticket to San Diego, where she’d be able to surprise her mother with the greatest gift - her company.

She was over the moon with excitement, and the day couldn’t come too quickly. But she was unaware of what would happen once she was onboard.

Boarding The Plane

The day soon arrived, and Joanna was boarding the plane. She found her seat and quietly sat down. She carried her bag on the plane. It consisted of a lot of small baubles that kept her comfortable.

Just as the plane took off, Joanna decided to take out one of her quartz. It was very special. It was the very same one her mother gave her. But just she did, she felt something strange, something she had never felt before.

Warning Them

At that moment, Joanna knew she needed to warn them of what she had just felt. She believed wholeheartedly in spirituality, but other people weren’t so tolerant sometimes. She just hoped it wouldn’t be like that.

She called a stewardess with an urgent tone. They came by with a smile. But after she told them what she had seen, their smile turned to a stifled laugh. She wasn’t being taken seriously.

Being Mocked

Joanna understood what was going on. This happened more often than you’d think. A lot of people thought she was crazy, including this stewardess. But she knew she needed to get them to take her seriously.

She had told the stewardess that there was going to be a terrible storm, that she had seen it, but she was only met with laughter.

It Started

Joanna didn’t know what to do. She needed them to understand that what she felt was very real. They were headed into a storm, and only she knew that it was certain to happen.

After pleading with the stewardess and starting to show signs of agitation, she just said, “Ma’am, calm down, or we’ll have to detain you.” She couldn’t believe what she was hearing, but then it started, and the plane shook.

Too Late

Tears streamed down her face as the plane shook again, “See, I told you this would happen.” The stewardess had on a face of ridicule just a moment earlier, but she wasn’t laughing now. She had a look of pure horror on her face.

She realized that Joanna was right. Her laughing had turned to beg. She was sorry that she hadn’t believed her. But now it was too late, and now everyone was in peril.

The Storm

The storm had just started, so it was only just beginning. The stewardess ran to the cockpit to notify the pilots, but Joanna was sure that it wouldn’t do her much good. They should have listened to her sooner.

Just a few tense moments later, Joanna heard the pilot over the intercom, “This is your pilot speaking. We’re experiencing a lot of turbulence due to an unexpected storm.”

Positive Energy

Joanna held her crystals close and tried to send out as much positive energy as possible. She would try to keep them safe, even if they didn’t believe in her. The plane shook even harder left and right.

Passengers started letting out yelps in surprise. It seemed that everyone was now concerned for their safety. But Joanna had faith in her beliefs and knew they would get through this.

Faith

While she heard others pray softly to themselves, she used her own methods and hoped it would be enough. That’s all they could do, but she had no idea if it would be enough.

The plane kept rattling and shaking as the turbulence only got worse. They were clearly in the middle of the storm and were seeing the worst of it. They just had to make it through now.

Vindication

After five more minutes of what felt like a horror movie, the storm suddenly vanished. The plane stabilized, and everything appeared to be normal. Joanna smiled. She knew that having a good mindset could very well have saved them.

But what Joanna didn’t expect was the stewardess to come back, clearly rattled. She waited for her to ridicule her once more, but she said something entirely unexpected, “Ma’am, I’m sorry I didn’t believe you, and we’d like to make your trip with us free.” Joanna smiled again. She was vindicated.
