Donny Osmond Shares Rare Picture with All His Grown-up Sons Together

Father And Sons

Aside from being a great singer, dancer, actor, tv host, and former teen idol, Donny Osmond is also a loving husband and a proud father of five boys. More than anything in the world, he believes that his best achievement in life can raise five incredible men.

He couldn't ask for more but for them to enjoy fatherhood as much as he did now that they have their own family. It seems that he was able to maintain a happy and wonderful family. But let's see how it all began.

Winning Debbie’s Heart

Donny was 16 years old when she first met Debbie, a 15-year-old girl who was one of the hottest cheerleaders in town. She first dated Donny’s brother. And when they broke up, Donny dated her.

There is something in her that captured Donny’s heart. From then on, he knew she was the one that he wanted to spend his life with.

Disapproved Relationship

Even though Donny and Debbie were almost in love at first sight, it wasn't a good enough excuse for the two to start dating. Well, at least not in the eyes of Donny's father, George Osmond.

Based on what the brown-haired hottie has to say, George did not want his son to have a romantic relationship with Debbie. It's because George believed it would be detrimental to his professional career.

The Kiss

Since they shared their wedding vowed more than 40 years ago, Donny Osmond and Debbie Osmond have had a life of happiness together. They had become masters at preserving their unbreakable link even before they said, "I do."

It all began on the day Donny kissed his future wife in 1976, and it has continued ever since. They have been one of the sweetest couples.

I Do

After three years of convincing the love of his life, she finally said yes to his marriage proposal. Donny’s father was at first against the idea of him marrying Debbie because he thought that it would hurt his career at that time when his career was at its peak.

But Donny knew that it was something he wanted to do, and it was the right thing to do. He was only 20, and she was just 19 when they exchanged vows at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Salt Lake City, Utah, on May 8, 1978.

As Husband and Wife

Donny never regretted his decision to marry Debbie. Furthermore, he became the happiest man when they lived together as a married couple. He took his role as a loving husband seriously.

He even credited her for always being the core of his life. She has also been very supportive while Donny was managing his career as a Hollywood star.

Becoming a Family

In July 1979, one year after they married, they had their first-born child, Donald Clark Osmond Jr. Jeremy Osmond. Their second son was born two years later, in June 1981.

Another baby boy was born in 1985, and they named him Brandon. The fourth son, Christopher, was born in 1990. And lastly, their youngest son was born in 1998, Josh.

Credits to the Wife

Even though the former teen star spent a significant amount of time traveling around the world while raising their children, he always found time for his wife and sons. When Donny was away from home, he praised his wife for keeping the household running well.

In an interview with Third Hour, the Dancing With the Stars alumni said that he's delighted that his lovely Debbie has been able to spend more time at home and has been such a tremendous and positive influence on each member of the family.

Time Together

Donny enjoys spending time at his Utah residence with Debbie, whom he has described as his "saving grace," "close confidant," and "companion" when he is not touring the country for his professional endeavors. In an interview with Closer magazine in August 2021, the performer said they enjoy gardening in their yard.

He said that the two of them were out in the yard one night, chatting while they pulled weeds and watered the plants. "It was a charming evening, in its way," he said, pointing out the many reasons why their yard is so precious to him.

Children and Grandchildren

Donny appears to be so content even at this age. He seemed to be happy. More than 40 years have passed since he and his wife, Debbie, were united in marriage. They have five sons and twelve grandkids. All of them are boys except for two.

All of his children, with the exception of one, live in Utah, and his home serves as the central meeting place. Let's get to know his boys a little better.

Out of the Spotlight

Donny and Debra purposefully chose to raise their children away from the spotlight and to allow them to forge their life paths, so it's no wonder that not all of their children are musically inclined. According to his father, Chris, his second-youngest kid, is a recording artist who just produced an EP. Moreover, Brandon is a multi-talented artist who excels in many other fields of study.

Aside from having worked as a singer and voice actor in the past, the young father is also a photographer and also an art director, among other things.

The first son

Donald Clark Osmond Jr., the eldest son of Debbie and Donny, is working as a public relations firm, according to The Spectrum. He may not follow his dad’s footsteps in the Hollywood industry, but he is also a proud and supportive husband, just like his father to his wife, Jessica Nelson Osmond.

He married his wife in 2010, and they have four children. The grandparents are delighted that their family keeps on growing, and they love their grandchildren so much.

Working Off-Screen

Donald Clark Osmond Jr. has a total value of $5 million. He accumulated his fortune by performing for some time before discovering that he was not cut out for the screen. Well, he changed his career now.

Donny Jr. is presently involved in company marketing, and he has worked with his father, who is also a client. Donald is also a top executive in OzComm Marketing, which he founded in 2001.

Off to Another Pathway

When it came time for Donald Jr. to consider his options, the very first thing he did was choose a job that had nothing to do with the entertainment industry. Donald stated that he is simply weary of fame and all that his father and uncles have.

He also said that the media had devoured him and had several negative interactions with them. This is also why he chose not to follow his parents' path.

The Napster Talk

Donny dabbled with entertainment management, even taking on his father as a client at one time. However, he had a significant objective in mind. After all, how many public relations firms can command the whole narrative?

It's difficult to control every element of the media with the internet's growing influence. It wasn't till he and his father started talking about Napster that Don began to view things differently.

Observing the Audience

Don was there to see his father's revival in his professional life. He stated that there had been one thing that rekindled interest in the Osmond brand. Their story.

It's all about crafting a narrative that pulls people in and piques their interest, causing them to choose to learn more about them. They show concern for the audience by welcoming them in.

Assisting Clients at OzComm

Don quit the entertainment marketing profession and went into corporate marketing after gaining a fresh perspective on storytelling. He wanted to offer every one of his patrons their own story, their cause for others to care about them.

Some shifts might seem catastrophic at times, much like with Napster and his father's work, but he realized that you have a higher chance of succeeding when people care about your narrative. He now assists his clients at his marketing firm, OzComm.

The Second Son

Just like Donald, Jeremy Osmond also did not pursue a career like their fathers’. Instead, he studied physical therapy and earned a doctorate. He married his wife in 2002, Melisa Osmond, and they were blessed with three children, two boys, and one girl.

Donny has always been fond of his granddaughter, and he continually posts cute pictures of his sweet princess Emy on his Instagram.

Physical Therapist

Jeremy James Osmond has a net worth of $2 million, which he has amassed via his work as a physical therapist. The average annual salary for a physical therapist in the United States is $81,640. He also has a lovely family. He was the one who gave Donny his first grandchild. Jeremy James Osmond and Melisa Osmond are married and have three children who are all very gorgeous and adorable.

Even though Jeremy had his mug shot taken, he stated it was not a huge issue. Donny, his father, was furious when he learned about the event later since he was on tour with his child Maria at the time. Well, it seems like they are all fine now. Their family is tight and loving, after all.

The Third Son

While the first two didn't have the same passion as their dad, Brandon Osmond is the one who inherited the same love for music and art from their father. H Brandon is an advertiser, an art director, a photographer, and a musician.

Just like their father, he also likes spending his time with his four sons. Donny is always excited when his grandchildren gather together, and that most of them are boys.

Unproblematic Marriage

Brandon Osmond tied the knot with Shelby Hansen Osmond, the woman he had met on the internet in 2008. Because Shelby and Brandon enjoy a happy marriage, there has never been any word of adultery on either side of the aisle.

Brandon is a very trustworthy and devoted husband, and Shelby is a very genuine and loving wife. Therefore they have no issues in their relationship.

Sharing a Blog

Three lovely sons have been born to Brandon and his wife, Shelby. Their names are Daxton, Benson, and Tayte Osmond, and they are all very close to their father. Brandon and his wife are also bloggers, and the two of them maintain a website where they post almost anything under the sun.

The couple shares photographs and discusses childbirth, their children, their lives, and pretty much everything else. Despite his aptitude as the third son of a great musician, Brandin Osmond continued to find excuses not to dedicate his attention to music.

Unpursued Passion

Initially, his father's enormous fame, Donny Osmond, discouraged him from following in his footsteps. He'd been behind the scenes and witnessed the ups and downs of the music industry. College, a missionary trip for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and his current relationship all succeeded in keeping him from pursuing music.

Brandon decided to enter "Showcase," a free online song and video contest hosted by Mormon Times, with the support of his wife and other family and friends. He was named a semifinalist in the competition. Both of the songs Osmond placed on the website were written by him and are about the things he values the most. Before his two-year missions in Scotland, he penned the first song, "Thine Own Son," and the second one is "Bring Me Home," which is about his wife.

The Fourth Son

Christopher and Donny’s birthdays are just days apart. That is why they always have a joint celebration. Donny writes on his Instagram that he loves celebrating his birthday with his son, and he considers him one of the best gifts he has ever received.

His father has always been proud of what everyone considered his handsome son for his achievements in his personal life, especially his marriage with his wife, Alta Osmond. They got married in 2017. And Donny was more proud when his grandson with Chris was born in November 2020.

The Fifth Son

The youngest son, Josh, pursued a different life from all of Donny and Debbie's kids. Despite being a young adult, he moved to Rome, Italy, to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Donny has been very proud and cannot contain his emotions with his son's achievements, especially when they reunited after two years. The family also celebrated his happy wedding despite the circumstances in 2020.

Happy Wedding

Josh Osmond's wedding will be remembered for a long time! After his intended wedding location was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, Donny Osmond's youngest child married Summer Felsted on June 12 in a private ceremony conducted in his family's garden.

Josh, 22, and Summer, 21, spoke with Closer about their fantastic event, telling the newspaper that their wedding "came out beautifully" even though they only had a few family members attend owing to social distance limitations.

Blessings in Disguise

According to Josh, it helped to make the entire day more personal and meaningful for everyone. The wedding turned out to be even more lovely than they could have dreamt it would be! It was a wonderful celebration of this new chapter in their lives that he and his wife were starting. They can't wait to have children of their own.

Josh is the youngest of his four brothers and the last to tie the knot. In an Instagram post published in May, Donny, his father, expressed his delight at the introduction of his fifth daughter-in-law into the household. His wife, Debbie, expressed her delight at Summer Felsted's decision to get married to their son Josh. Becoming a member of the Osmond family truly is exciting!

Proud Dad

The day before Father's Day, Donny shared a photo of himself with his five children from the wedding, writing in the caption that it was marvelous spending quality time with all of his five sons at Josh and Summer's wedding.

According to him, becoming a father is one of his greatest joys, and witnessing his boys embrace the responsibilities of #fatherhood with such love, patience, and kindness is a priceless gift. Isn't Donny one awesome dad? For sure, his boys will follow suit.

A Dozen Grandchildren

Donny Osmond started the new year with a new member of his family! After his eldest son had his fourth child just days before the beginning of 2021, Donny revealed the arrival of his 12th grandson. On Tuesday, January 12, the happy grandfather, 63, said on Instagram with images of his newborn grandson, "We officially have a dozen!" Christian, Don and Jessi's fourth child, was born on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, and the grandparents are immediately in love.

The Masked Singer star also shared two photos of his lovely grandson in another post. Christian bundled up in a blanket slept like a cherub. In another post, Don, 41, and his wife cuddled their baby in bed, staring lovingly into his eyes. Christian is the newest addition to the Osmond clan, arriving a little over a month after their 11th grandson, Aussie, was conceived in late November 2020. As soon as his son Chris, 30, and his wife, Alta, delivered their first child, Donny also shared the joyful news.

 Prioritizing the Family

In spite of all of the wonderful things Donny Osmond has accomplished in his life, the "Crazy Horses" singer is most pleased with the accomplishments of his five sons and twelve grandchildren. Additionally, Donny takes time to spend with his lovely family, despite having a demanding Hollywood schedule to maintain. It's really just a matter of priorities. Donny really knows that Family is the most important thing in the world.

Donny says that, despite all of his professional accomplishments and numerous awards, becoming a parent or a grandfather has been the most rewarding experience of his life. However, the I Can See Your Voice panelist would not be able to be the finest father of five children and grandfather of twelve grandchildren without the support of his wife, Debbie Osmond. Creating such a beautiful family wouldn’t have been made possible without the couple’s love and teamwork.
