Freezing The Account
The first thing the lawyer did was freeze the account that had been put in Stephanie’s name.
This was done so the hospital couldn’t claim interest on the time between issuing the bill and receiving their payment.
But this deal was far from over. With Thomas’ help, the lawyer discovered that Stephanie wasn’t the only woman being cheated. And he wanted to investigate that.
