According to the grapevine, the doctor wasn’t as innocent as he’d like people to believe.
He grew up in Detroit, too, and he had his run-in with the gang on more than one occasion.
In fact, he was so well known within the ranks that they didn’t even need to investigate him. They all knew the man who was healing their wounds before he got his degree and turned into a snob.
