Disney "It" Girls Who Are Still Turning Heads (And Some Who Aren't)












The second person on this list to appear here due to her involvement in The All New Mickey Mouse Club, it seems fitting that Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera are linked once again. Seen as rivals of sorts throughout most of their careers, it has been remarkable to see just how regularly their professional lives have mirrored one another. Of course, we say that in part because of their shared time on the Disney Channel, but they also have gone on to be massive pop stars in the years since then. An incredibly talented performer with a vocal range that blows us away, Christina Aguilera was even named one of the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time by Rolling Stone.

Far from her only accolade, she was also named as one of the most successful artists of the 2000s by Billboard. Also able to become a pretty big TV star over the last several years as well, her time as a part of the competition show The Voice gave her career a resurgence. In fact, at this point, the only thing that seems to be clear about Aguilera is that she will continue to succeed in cool and interesting ways.

The second person on this list that first rose to prominence as a star of Barney and Friends, Selena Gomez was a major part of that series over a two year period. From there going on to garner the attention of The Disney Channel bosses, she appeared in both The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and Hannah Montana before getting a series of her own. The star of Wizards of Waverly Place for several years, in it she played a wizard competing to inherit vast powers. A huge hit, lots of merchandise was created for the show and it was extended into two Disney Channel original movies, Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie and The Wizards Return: Alex vs.

Alex. Now a powerhouse within the entertainment world, Selena Gomez continues to act in major motion pictures. A fact that is highlighted by her inclusion in 22 movies since the year 2010, her highlights include the Hotel Transylvania series, Spring Breakers, and The Fundamentals of Caring. Far from content with that alone, she has also managed to become a singing superstar due to hit songs like “Hands to Myself,” “Come & Get It,” “Good For You,” as well as “Trust Nobody.” Additionally, she also served as an executive producer on the much talked about Netflix series 13 Reasons Why and at one point had the most followed Instagram account in the world.


Aly starred on Phil of the Future from 2004 to 2006. She pretty quickly transitioned into non-Disney roles.

In 2010, she appeared alongside Emma Stone in Easy A and she's now on the CW show iZombie.

Camilla Bell starred in Rip Girls, the 2000 Disney Channel Original Movie about girls who surf. She was the main Rip Girl in the movie.

Camilla later appeared in movies like From Prada to Nada and 10,000 B.C. She also briefly dated Joe Jonas, which led to her ending up as a reference in the Taylor Swift song "Better Than Revenge."

Ross made his Austin & Ally debut in 2011. He also appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie Teen Beach Movie, in addition to playing in his band R5.

He finally left Disney behind in 2017, when he starred as serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in the movie My Friend Dahmer.

Who would have guessed?? Jake has been on NCIS, CSI, and Criminal Minds.

When Mitchell was younger, he played Oliver on Hannah Montana. He also had a voice role on the animated show Phineas and Ferb until 2015.

Now 27, he most recently appeared in a movie called Bachelor Lions.

Kyle played Raven's brother on That's So Raven from 2003 to 2007. He has a role in the short-lived show Cory in the House.

Now, Kyle is 26 and he has since competed on Dancing With the Stars and has appeared on Gotham as well as Being Mary Jane.

The middle Jonas brother Joe is now the front man of the band DNCE.

They are famous for their single "Cake by the Ocean." Joe is engaged to Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones.

Jake played Alex's little brother on Wizards of Waverly Place from 2007 to 2011. He's now only 23, because he was a child while on Wizards of Waverly Place.

Since then, he has appeared on The Fosters, competed on Dancing With the Stars, and had a voice role for The Emoji Movie and Rio.

Shia played the mischievous trouble maker Louis Stevens on Even Stevens from 2000 to 2003.

After his Disney career was over, Shia starred in an Indiana Jones movie and Holes.

Dylan (who played Zack) on the Suite Life of Zack and Cody has continued acting into his adulthood. He opened a meadery in Brooklyn that is called the All-Wise Meadery.

Dylan perfected his recipes for mead while studying at NYU.

Cole Sprouse got his big break on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, playing Cody.

Cole also played Ross's son on the show Friends from 2000 to 2002.

Lucas Grabeel is now 33. He played Sharpay's twin brother Ryan.

Since his Disney days, he has worked steadily as a voice actor. He played young Lex Luthor on Smallville, and five years later played Superboy on the same show.

Disney is Zac Efron, He played High school heartthrob in High School Musical. He played the character in all three installments of the High School Musical.

Zac went on to get really jacked for movies like The Lucky One, Neighbors, and Baywatch. He is probably one of the most successful of all the Disney actors.
