Did Nostradamus Really Predict Trump And The Upcoming End Of The World?

More Living Space

Almost 500 years ago, Nostradamus caused a stir in Europe with claims that he could predict the future. Today, many believe that he predicted such events as World War II and most recently, Donald Trump’s rise to the U.S.

presidency.

Born in Provence, France in 1503, Michel de Nostredame studied at the university of Avignon.

From Apothecary to Predictor

However, his education was abruptly interrupted when the plague hit and the university shut down.

In the eight years that followed Nostredame traveled the country and learned about herbal medicine. He used this knowledge to work as an apothecary, and then in 1550 he changed careers completely when he published an almanac full of predictions, using the Latin name Nostradamus.

Meditative State

The Prophecies

It seems that Nostradamus’ predictions came to him during meditation and when he published his almanac, he became incredibly famous in France and the public wanted more.

Nostradamus followed his first book with the publication of his second book titled Les Propheties (The Prophecies) in 1555.

The Royal Connection

This particular book claimed to lay out predictions for the subsequent 2,000 years.

Nostradamus’ fame went all the way to French royals and Queen Catherine, the wife of King Henry II of France, asked him to come her residence.

King Henry’s Fatal Injury

It’s been said that during that visit Nostradamus warned Henry against participating in all upcoming jousting competitions.

In 1559 a lance pierced King Henry’s helmet during a jousting competition and it fatally injured him.

Believers Worldwide

Subsequently many believed that the incident was laid out in Nostradamus’ book when he said a “young lion” would “pierce his eyes in a golden cage.”

Sees All And Knows All

By the time Nostradamus died in 1566, many people believed that he was able to predict the future with accuracy and hundreds of years later, it’s clear that many have held on to this belief.

Through the years, Nostradamus’ followers have been convinced that he predicted everything from the rise of Hitler to the atomic bomb.

Not So Far-Fetched

In the minds of his followers, he never missed anything.

Although a lot of this might sound far-fetched, it is true that Nostradamus’ writings mention a major war in Europe and as well as the name “Hister”.

9/11 and George W. Bush

He also talks about a “hidden death” that changes cities to dust overnight.

Even events such as 9/11 and the election of George W Bush are said to have been predicted by Nostradamus.

The Trump Connection

There seems to be no end to the number of things that his followers say he foresaw.

The Proof Is In The Third Book

Most recently some theorists have been saying that Nostradamus predicted the election of Donald Trump and that with Trump in office, it’s also a lead-up to the end of days.

If you’re wondering where evidence of the Trump prediction can be found, then you’ll have to look at the third book of The Prophecies, where Nostradamus wrote: “The great shameless, audacious bawler.

More Dark Days

He will be elected governor of the army: The boldness of his contention.”

Given Trump’s aggressive and in-your-face style, many are saying that he is the person Nostradamus was referring to in his prediction.

The Immigration Policy

Another one of Nostradamus’ predictions also mentions a “false trumpet concealing madness.” The trumpet, it is believed, will “cause Byzantium to change its laws.”

Theorists believe that Byzantium, which is now Turkey, is a reference to the refugee crisis that Europe has been facing in recent times. How does this connect to Trump?

The Apocalypse

Well, since Trump has a strong anti-immigration policy the belief is that this all goes back to him.

The 3 Antichrists

If this wasn’t enough, theorists also believe that Nostradamus’ predictions link a Trump presidency to a nuclear apocalypse.

Internet Speculation

Nostradamus experts say that the seer also predicted three antichrists and it’s been suggested that Napoleon and Hitler were the first two, and Trump is now set to be the third.

Ever since the Trump-Nostradamus link starting circulating, internet users have been having fun with it and watching it closely.

Weak Links

Some are watching it closely with a lot of belief, while others are watching it with skepticism.

It must be said that many of Nostradamus’ don’t hold up when closely examined.

Interesting Days Ahead

The claims that he predicted 9/11 have turned out to be fake and his mention of “Hister” could simply be him using the Latin name for the River Danube.

Whatever the case may be, everyone agrees that the future of America and the world under Donald Trump is going to be a very interesting one.

And many will be crossing their fingers in the hopes that Nostradamus really was wrong this time.
