Most of the dancers are very passionate about what they are doing. they express themselves through their dancing routines and they would never imagine themselves doing something else than dancing. However, you can never know how life turns out to be. That was the case for Briar Nolet, who had to sacrifice the most important thing to do what she loved the most.

However, at some point in her life, Briar had to choose between her passion and her health, after a tragic incident that happened to her. Briar's life tragically changed at the age of sixteen. She was practicing in a dance studio when her wright's hand started shaking uncontrollably and her eyes rolled. She then passed out and rushed to the hospital.
The doctors told her that she had a very severe seizor. The dancer was devastated, what she realized next made her feel hopeless. Click next to find out!
It seemed that dance was making her situation worse as it triggered her and she was having more seizures after. But, dancing was her life, so she decided that no matter what she had to continue dancing. And that's what she did.
She was diagnosed with epilepsy, but thankfully she managed to control it! She wasn't ready to give up on her dream.
This determined girl managed to stand out on the Tv show "World of Dance" despite her condition.
So, when it came to the point where she had to dance against Denise and Josh, she knew that she had to be the winner and show the judges what she could do.
However, she knew that she had to fight very hard as both these dancers were extremely talented and determined, too. Denise and Josh performed a great dance routine and now Briar had to top that.
Did she make it?
The duo gave their best and managed to amaze the audience and the judges. But, Briar was ready to show everyone how much she wanted and deserved to become the winner.
So, after their performance, it was Briar's turn to perform her dancing routine.
Briar took her position and prepared for her routine. As soon as the music started everyone knew she would win.
Her mover looked so natural and smooth that she looked as if she was flying. Moreover, her routine couldn't match better to the song.
At some point, while Briar was dancing she pointed at her competitor showing them how determined was to win and that they could do nothing about it.
She would be the winner no matter what!
Her moves were really precise and her expressions fitted perfectly with her whole performance. Everyone was looking at her with admiration and no one could deny just how good of a dancer Briar was.
She was a star.
Not even her competitors could hide their admiration towards her. She managed to hypnotized everyone with her moves, along with Denise and Josh.
There was no doubt about that! The duo enjoyed her performance as everyone else.
While she was dancing, Jennifer Lopez who was one of the judges couldn't take her eyes off of her. She was so blown away from Briar's performance and she was capturing every moment.
At some point, Lopez started tearing.
Briar did some very eccentric and acrobatic moves as she was performing her powerful routine.
Lopez was so shocked by how much this girl was trying to win that she couldn't help it and she burst into tears in the middle of Briar's performance.
Jennifer Lopez couldn't believe that this girl dancing in front of her had gone through so much and yet she managed to stand on her feet and chase her dream.
As Briar's routine was coming to an end everyone knew that she had already won against her competitors.
Till the very last minute of her performance, she didn't break character proving to everyone how talented she was.
As soon as she stopped, everyone stood up and started clapping uncontrollably. She had made it!
She proved to everyone how much of a fighter she was and how much she loved to dance.
When it was time for the judges to give their opinions about her performance no one could speak. Especially Jennifer Lopez, who was crying.
Even though the other judges tried to comfort her, she couldn't stop.
As soon as Lopez managed to calm herself, the other judges started giving Briar their feedback. They told her that she was amazing and that she was a star.
the had never seen such a powerful performance ever again!
When it came to Lopez's turn to say her opinion on the routine, she was still with tears in her eyes. “You are a survivor.
Don’t give up and you came out here and you really fought and that moved me,” she managed to say.
“I’m always proud to see people to rise to the occasion of the moment and not be afraid. You have to push through the fear and go. I’m gonna do it no matter what.
With all these obstacles in my way, I’m gonna do it. You’ve inspired a lot of people tonight,” she added.
After all these heartwarming words it was time for the judges to announce who was the winner.
As it was expected, the passionate dancer Briar Nolet became the winner and gave an example to everyone who struggles to never give up.
