Long-Awaited Pregnancy
Pregnancy came as a complete surprise to this couple, but it was something they had been hoping for quite some time.

Happy Family
Angelo and Katie started dating in college. They married after two years and had two wonderful boys. Taylor was five years old, and Brandon was nine.

Katie's Dream
Life should have been wonderful, but something wasn't quite right. They lived in the Orange County area of California. Angelo and Katie were content with their lives since they had well-paying careers. Katie, on the other hand, continued to dream about having another kid.

Everything was supposed to be fine, the doctor assured them, but it wasn't. Katie was disappointed. She had given up all hope.

Katie received unbelievable news after two years. They couldn't believe it had happened at last! Yes, she was expecting a child. Angelo was taken aback. He had no idea it would ever happen.
The couple was taken aback by the pregnancy. However, they believed it was the best time it could have happen.
Miracle
Katie thanked God profusely for this miracle and embraced pregnancy with caution. She took all of the doctors' instructions and learnt a lot about medicine.
It was all she had wanted for this many years, but it wasn't without its challenges.
Doctor Scared Katie
The final doctor's visit was unusual. He instructed Katie to return the next week to consult a specialist. It was unusual to see him so nervous.
Angelo tried to comfort her, insisting that she let him accompany her the next time. She had no idea how things would turn up.
Twins???
The couple went to the doctor to have an ultrasound of their baby. “It’d be better if I showed you instead of telling you," said the doctor.
Angelo realized something was utterly wrong. “Do you see that tiny face? You’re having twins”, he said. “A boy and a girl.” Katie couldn’t believe it. Angelo looked in shock and ran out of the room.
Angelo's Secret
Angelo had a secret. He was told he couldn't be a parent again the last time he went for a medical check-up. He was suffering from a rare disease.
He was disgusted. This couldn't be happening. Angelo decided to take a test.
Syndrome
The outcomes were not favorable. Angelo was born with Klinefelter syndrome, a condition in which one extra chromosome is present.
Humans have 46 chromosomes, with two sex chromosomes determining their gender. Women have two X chromosomes (XX), and men have an X chromosome and a Y chromosome (XY). Angelo had one extra copy of the X chromosome, which meant he had XXY. But what did this mean for him?
Whose Are Children?
He understood that they already had two children as a miracle, but new doctors diagnosed him with such a disease. Angelo was enraged.

DNA Test
These children were not his. He was aware of the situation but remained silent until the babies were delivered.
Angelo demanded a DNA test from Katie as soon as the babies were delivered. She was taken aback and terrified. What did it mean?
A Divorce
The couple received the results after two weeks. Angelo decided to leave Katie.
“Of course, the twins are yours! no matter what the science says!” Katie said. But Angelo couldn't be with a woman who had betrayed him. He filed for a divorce.

When the DNA results arrived, they were on the verge of divorcing. Angelo's assumptions had all been validated. They weren't his twins.
