Couple Finally Discovers The Truth Behind Mysterious Noises Emitting From The Walls Of Their Home

For years, their 9-year-old daughter Brianna would hear mysterious voices emitting from the walls of her bedroom. The sound kept her awake all night, and Brianna's parents were very worried about her.

Nobody knew where the sound was coming from, and it took the family five years to solve the mystery. And what they discovered inside the wall left them traumatized.

Loud Voices

Brianna couldn't even do her homework in the room because of the loud voices and music behind her bedroom walls.

This had been happening since she was three years old. But when she finally told her parents about it, they didn't know what to do.

She Couldn't Fall Asleep

Sometimes, the voices were so loud that she had to sleep in her parents' room.

“There are voices in the wall, and I don’t know what it is,” she told them. But what did her parents think about it?

They Believed It Was A Radio Station

Brianna's parents could also hear the voices all the way from their bedroom.

They believed that they were hearing a radio station, so they contacted experts in radio technology to get some answers and hopefully solve this strange problem.

The Experts Weren't Helpful

But unfortunately, the information they received from the experts wasn't helpful, and they were left with more questions than answers.

They told the couple that there was nothing wrong with their house, and it was probably their neighbors who were being loud. But Brianna's father refused to give up and decided to investigate the problem himself.

Looking For Answers

Brianna's father attempted to remove a portion of drywall to expose the paneling behind it to get a better look at what may be causing the music to play.

And what he saw shocked him to the core.

The Truth

He finally heard exactly what was playing on the radio, which made him want to move out immediately.

He couldn't believe his ears as he listened to the strange song emitting from the walls.

Listening To The Wall

Richard Smith could hear sermons emitting from the walls of his daughter's bedroom. The performance was so loud that he was surprised his daughter could even sleep at night.

He immediately contacted the police, hoping to resolve this problem once and for all.

The Police Arrived

Two officers arrived at his house and took detailed reports on the sounds emitting from the walls.

One of the officers wrote in his statement: “a commercial for the Christian radio station AM 1160.”

The Report

Another officer noted hearing "talking about Christ."

They advised Richard to get in touch with the radio station to get answers to his problem, which turned out to be a horrible idea.

Digging For The Truth

The family got a contractor to inspect Brianna's room first. However, he didn't find any unsecured metal fixtures or mistakes in the construction of their home.

Finally, one last expert was able to shed more light on why this was happening to the Smiths.

Patrick Berger's Opinion

Director of engineering with Cumulus Media, Patrick Berger, said that while "it doesn't happen all the time, AM is a wild thing. He believed the metal in their home's pipes could be picking up an AM radio frequency.

He advised the Smith family to hire an engineer to have a look at their home and pinpoint the location from where the sound is coming from.

The Metal Could Act Like A Speaker

"The metal could act like a speaker. That is what they are hearing," he said.

The owners of the radio station haven't yet made a statement regarding this bizarre situation. The Smiths noticed that the problem is more persistent at night when the house gets colder and less persistent during the summer days. But the family didn't stop looking for solutions.

They Only Have Two Solutions

"Sometimes when we think we've arrived at a solution, the next season comes around, and it's back," Richard said.

The only two solutions to the problem would be moving away from the radio towers sending the signal to their home and replacing the entirety of the metal piping in their house.

She Still Can't Sleep In Her Room

Brianna says she still can't sleep in her room, and her parents had to set up a bed for her in the living room.

"The sound never really stops. It creeps me out."
