Ryan and Lisa, a young couple, shared a favorite activity. They did treasure hunting during their off time. One day their metal detector started beeping very loud and for a very long time. They realized they were about to make a fortune.
Surely, Lisa had not expected to find anything valuable on her first try. As they began digging their hearts started to beat faster. They were on the verge of reaching the object.

Inside the box, they found letters. Along with that, there were some engraved words on the box. When Ryan started to read it, Lisa was shocked.

The letters and numbers represented a date and a message. Lisa realized that it was a Bible verse.
Ryan always carried a bible with him and opened it right away.

Ryan and Lisa were devout Christians, and they took it as a divine sign. Ryan discovered the first passage, Matthew 13:44.
Ryan read the verse, “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.” Lisa had the impression that this was not a coincidence.
A Little Box
Next was Proverbs 18:22, “He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.”
After Ryan had read this, he took out a small box.
Engagement Ring
It was an engagement ring! Ryan was about to propose to Lisa. She was completely taken aback.
"Will you marry me?" asked Ryan and excitedly waited for the answer.
Of Course, She Said YES!
Lisa replied with a passionate YES! The pair was ecstatic. Ryan was overjoyed to hear Lisa say "yes," and Lisa was overjoyed since her wish had come true.
The ring was a real treasure because it was an heirloom diamond Ryan had inherited from his grandma.
The Main Treasure
“Lisa, you’re the treasure that I found in a field, and I want to give over everything that I have so that I can have you,” said Ryan.
The proposal was captured on tape and went viral. It was very unique and wonderful. Ryan did an incredible act that every girl dreams of.
