It's no secret that Oprah Winfrey has been in a relationship with Stedman Graham for more than 30 years. She has said that the only reason they've both had such a great relationship if because they've never gotten engaged,

“His interpretation of what it means to be a husband and what it would mean for me to be a wife would have been pretty traditional, and I would not have been able to fit into that,” she explained to Vogue in 2017.

Charlize Theron

“Marriage to me is not that important, I want to have a partner and have a monogamous long-term relationship, I really do. But I don’t need to have a wedding. My heart and my life and how I am with that guy is going to be exactly the same. I don’t need the party. I don’t need the white dress," Charlize Theron said to Howard Stern in 2017.

She's dated Stuart Townsend for 9 years before they broke up in 2010. After her breakup, she decided to adopt two children to call her own - August, 2, and Jackson, 6.

Matthew Perry

Matthew Perry has had plenty of romances with actresses like Julia Roberts, Lauren Graham, and Heather Graham. But he's never gotten married before.

Matthew Perry told UK's Daily Mail in 2009, "Life has changed so much over the last few decades. There used to be a feeling that once you were 30, you had to be married with children and a house… and here I am, nearly 40, with none of that. But I’m hoping that will change. I’m a pretty happy guy, who is looking for someone who enjoys having a good time. I’m hoping it will all work out for me in the end."

Kourtney Kardashian

Even though her sisters Khloe and Kim have tied the knot that hasn't pressured Kourtney Kardashian into making any marital decisions. She rather opted to have three kids with Scott Disick.

Winona Ryder

“I’d rather never have been married than been divorced a few times,” Winona Ryder told The Edit in 2016. “Not that there’s anything wrong with divorce, but I don’t think I could do it if that was a possibility. When your parents are madly in love for 45 years, your standards are really high. But I’ve been happily with someone for quite a while now.”

The “Stranger Things” actress has reportedly been in a relationship with eco-conscious fashion designer Scott Mackinlay Hahn since 2011, and she was engaged to Johnny Depp in the early ’90s.

“We don’t want any more toasters,” he joked. Fallon has also said that marriage is not something either of them has ever needed.

Lauren Graham

If it’s not broken, why fix it? That seems to be the Lauren Graham’s attitude with regard to her relationship with former “Parenthood” co-star Peter Krause.

When asked in 2014 if marriage is in the couple’s future, she replied: “I don’t know! We are really happy. I feel like close to five years in Hollywood, it’s, like, aren’t we married already really? It’s good the way it is.”

Marisa Tomei

When it comes to her thoughts on marriage, Academy Award-winning actor Marisa Tomei doesn’t mince words. “I’m not that big a fan of marriage as an institution and I don’t know why women need to have children to be seen as complete human being,” she once stated.

Sheryl Crow

Sheryl Crow isn’t jaded about love or relationships that didn’t work out, and she has been linked in the past to musician Eric Clapton, cyclist Lance Armstrong and actor Owen Wilson.

“Hey, I would love to get married — I’m still old-fashioned,” she told Good Housekeeping in 2014. “But I don’t think marriage is the be-all and end-all. It’s better to have three broken engagements than three divorces.”

Seth MacFarlane

Seth MacFarlane

“I’m wide open to getting married, but actors are not easy people to date,” he told Parade. “You end up sharing that person with this other mistress that is their career. I very much like the traditional courtship method of making a date. That’s what they do in normal places, but Hollywood’s not normal.”

“When I was younger, I wanted so badly to be married and have kids in a rush,” said “The Mindy Project” star Mindy Kaling in 2015. “I loved my parents’ relationship.” However, the actress added that she doesn’t need to be married.

“I don’t need anyone to take care of all my needs and desires,” she told Good Housekeeping. “I can take care of them myself now.” The actress gave birth to her first child as a single mom in 2017.

Kristin Davis

Although Charlotte York on “Sex and the City” was determined to have the perfect marriage, in real life, actress Kristin Davis couldn’t be farther from the character she played.

Edie Falco

Having divorced parents may have influenced “Nurse Jackie” and “The Sopranos” actress Edie Falco never to marry. She says that her kids — whom she adopted as a single mom — are better off for it. “My kids have never seen me scream at anybody,” she told The Daily Beast in a 2010 interview.

“They’ve never seen an argument. There’s never been even a cold silence. And those are things that I grew up with because my parents did end up divorcing.”
