Times Nice Celebrities Took Their Masks Off

Hard To Keep Up Appearances

Being a celebrity isn't always easy. They had to keep up appearances for paparazzi and fans alike. But what happens when they drop their persona for even an instant? Well, people find out that they aren't the people they normally are.

We've scoured the internet and found some of your favorite celebrities when they had had enough of keeping up appearances and showed their true colors. From Jennifer Aniston to Ray J, they can't always be nice.

Katie Couric

Katie Couric has had a successful career as a journalist, news anchor, and even consultant on shows like 60 Minutes. But recently, in her memoir "Going There," she said some things that have people a little put off.

In her book, she talks about her rivalry with other females that threatened her career—icing them out and admitting some pretty nasty comments she's made. This understandably has some people questioning her morals.

Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston has seemed friendly and warm as an actress, but a few of her co-stars seem to disagree with that statement. Celebrities like Isla Fisher, Tim Robbins, or Will Forte will tell us that they wouldn't use the word "warm" to describe her.

They said that she isn't blatantly rude either, but she can be a little stuck up between takes when there's downtime at the studio. She prefers to eat her lunch alone and always uses a luxury SUV.

Ray J

Recently there's been a huge uproar among Princess fans as they defend their celebrity from Ray J allegedly being "disrespectful" towards her. There are many rumors about what Ray J did wrong.

He allegedly cheated on her. While most of Ray J's fans may stay loyal to him, that doesn't mean everyone is happy with him, especially when he made his wife and a lot of people's favorite celebrity cry.

Pierce Brosnan

A lot of celebrity drama seems to happen when one celebrity has an inside story to share about another. This time is no exception, and none other than James Corden had words to share about what he thought of Pierce Brosnan.

When asked which celebrity he's met that was rude, he singled out the greying actor. He said that when he was at a U2 concert, he happened to find him in the crowd. But that he deliberately shoved him during the show.

Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers may be a star when it comes to his NFL team, but when it comes to his relationships, it seems that he's not the best person to be around. He's had two failed marriages which isn't a big deal by itself.

But when we heard that he's not even in contact with his own family, we felt that rather than a coincidence, he's most likely the common denominator. Clearly, people just don't want him around.

John Krasinski

John Krasinski's fame skyrocketed to new levels after he co-starred in "The Office." He's always maintained a "nice guy" persona both onscreen and in front of the paparazzi. But recently, while his co-star and character's love interest, Jenna Fischer, has admitted having real chemistry onset, he's denied this.

She said in an interview, "There's a real part of me that is Pam and a real part of him that's Jim, and those parts of us were genuinely in love with one another." But Krasinski said, "I think that was wildly misquoted or taken out of context."

Ellen DeGeneres

Ellen DeGeneres seemed really kind on her show and in front of the paparazzi. But there are a lot of people who don't agree, ex-employees especially. But we'll share one experience a fan had with her.

Fan Danielle Acevedo tweeted, "When I was 15 @TheEllenShow was doing a contest of fans making a bust of her and sending it to her. I worked so hard on this and even wrote her a letter. Weeks later, she used it as a prop in a game and gave it away to a random person with $500 attached to the bottom."

Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown has had a lot of success with the Raiders. But outside of when his performance is good, he's also become a real liability. Between helmet mishaps and tensions on the field, things have never run smoothly.

But the real breaking point was when Antonio illegally recorded a conversation between him and head coach Jon Gruden speaking privately, which he later posted on his Instagram. That was the final straw, and he's been released.

Steven Tyler

Steven Tyler had been a rockstar for decades. Have you thought he'd be used to people filming him by now, right? Well, it seems that he doesn't always appreciate it when fans film him during his shows.

In a recent show, he reprimanded a fan in a patronizing way. He said, "Are you gonna put that on your website? No? Why are you filming me then? Well, then turn it off! Watch the show, man!"

Jerry Seinfeld

Jerry Seinfeld's been a big name in comedy for more than a few decades. His career skyrocketed after his show Seinfeld got off the ground. But he hasn't always been the most sensitive.

After fans asked why predominantly white people were being interviewed in his show "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee." He said, "People think [comedy] is the census or something. It's gotta represent the actual pie chart of America. Who cares? Funny is the world that I live in. You're funny. I'm interested."

John Travolta

John Travolta's been second-guessed by fans after an awkward encounter at the Oscars. He co-starred with Scarlet Johansson in 2004's "A Love Song for Bobby Long" but made an awkward scene on the red carpet.

But in 2015, he awkwardly kissed her at the Oscars. Fans were a little taken aback by the actor, but Scarlett Johansson has reassured them that there was nothing inappropriate or creepy about it.

Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner was famous before she was even a teenager. Her family has been in the spotlight, and it only escalated more after her father married Kris Jenner. But fans often speak about how they don't like the persona she shows her fans.

One Reddit fan said, "I feel like Kendall is known for being 'natural,' 'relatable,' and 'humble,' especially compared to her sisters. But I personally feel like Kendall is out-of-touch, rude, and entitled."

Prince

Prince needs no introduction. His music career and personality were both explosive. Fans are fully aware that Prince could be a bit of a diva. But sometimes, he took it too far.

One crew member spoke out, "No crew members were allowed to look at him or talk to him. I literally saw him fire a guy for looking at him. He just said, 'Why is that guy looking at me? Tell him to leave."

Drake

Drake still manages to stay relevant and famous years after the highest point of his career. But being so famous means that a lot of rumors and drama circulates around the internet.

There's been so much drama. From allegations of blackface to his more famous "baby mama" drama. Whether or not fans choose to believe the rumors. It doesn't disregard that one day they may come out as true.
