Celebrities You Didn't Know Were Right-Wing Conservatives!

Dennis Rodman

With a Republican President, Republican-majority house, and a Republican-majority senate, it seems like aligning with a certain political party gives you a social death wish these days. But people are forgetting that political parties are just an alignment of ideals, not necessarily people. And while our current president has the lowest approval rating, and the enacting republican party seems like they are living in fantasyland, in the end, the party is based on ideals.

And a LOT of celebrities get behind those ideals. Let’s take a look at which of your favorite celebrities identify as Republican.

Dennis Rodman, a long time buddy of Donald’s, voiced his support for Donald Trump's candidacy on July 24, 2015. The former NBA player and social personality tweeted, "@realDonaldTrump has been a great friend for many years. We don't need another politician, we need a businessman like Mr.

Kanye West

Trump! Trump 2016.

Though “Yeezy 2024” is still imprinted in everyones minds, Ye also announced his political leanings to concertgoers in California in November 2016. He told his San Jose audience, “I told y’all I didn’t vote, right?

Lou Ferrigno

But if I would’ve voted, I would’ve voted for Trump.” West then doubled down, saying “I actually think that his approach was absolutely genius, because it f—ing worked.” Kanye West met with the freshly-elected President at Trump Tower in December 2016.

Tila Tequila

In 2016, TMZ caught up with actor and former "Celebrity Apprentice" contestant Lou Ferrigno, during which he stated that he is infact a conservative, and wishing "Donald the best" and "hoping he goes all the way."

Mike Tyson

Early in 2016, TV personality Tila Tequila posted a 5 minute YouTube video stating she is a "huge Donald Trump supporter," although admitting at first she "laughed at him," thought of him as "a joke," and "just another puppet." She has since confirmed that she voted for Trump in 2016.

Heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson went on HuffPost Live in October 2015 and endorsed presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

"He should be president of the United States," Tyson said.

Although he has come out to denounce the republican party lately, California Gov.

Tom Brady

Arnold Schwarzenegger told the 2004 Republican National Convention that he became a Republican after watching a Richard Nixon and Hubert Humphrey debate during the 1968 presidential election.

A frequent guest at Mar-a-Lago (Trump’s Floridian Golf Getaway), the famous QB has been friends with President Trump since 2002.

Bruce Willis

Brady apparently kept a “Make America Great Again” hat in his locker during Trump’s campaign, even though he never publicly spoke about his political affiliations (smart move).

Actor Bruce Willis supported President George H.W.

Paris Hilton

Bush in his 1992 re-election campaign against Bill Clinton, but lately he has been pretty relaxed about his political affiliations, not talking about politics publicly in quite some time.

Donald Trump, always the purveyor of controversy, made some eyebrow-raising comments about his longtime family friend, Paris back in 2003 to Howard Stern. It was that family friendship that Paris claimed in a November 2016 interview, that would’ve led her to cast her vote for him. “I’ve known him since I was a little girl, so yes ,” she said.

Jon Voight

But in April 2017, Hilton clarified, in an interview with Marie Claire that she didn’t even vote! But, in the same interview, she said that if she did vote, should would’ve voted for Trump.

Chris Pratt

Actor Jon Voight made headlines in 2009 at a Republican fundraiser when he called President Barack Obama "a false prophet."

While we don’t for sure know whether or not Pratt voted for Donald Trump (he follows the Pres. on Instagram), the Guardians star has spoken out against the rampant elitism in Hollywood.

Victoria Jackson

In a 2017 interview with Men’s Fitness Pratt said, “The voice of the average, blue-collar American isn’t necessarily represented in Hollywood. I don’t see personal stories that necessarily resonate with me, because they’re not my stories.” Despite being considered a “conservative celebrity” by many, Chris also said of his political leanings, “I don’t feel represented by either side."

Nicki Minaj

Former "Saturday Night Live" cast member Victoria Jackson was a hardline critic of former President Barack Obama and is a regular figure at Florida Tea Party events, the Sun-Sentinel reported in 2012.

James Caan

Pop superstar Nicki Minaj didn't necessarily endorse Mitt Romney, but in a guest appearance on the track "Mercy" from the Lil Wayne’s mixtape "Dedication 4," she rapped, "I'm a Republican / Voting for Mitt Romney." She later said the line was intended to be sarcastic, the New York Times reported.

Frank Sinatra

Actor James Caan told Fox News in 2010 that he's an "ultra conservative."

Initially an avid member of the Democratic Party, Frank Sinatra switched allegiances after a falling out with John F.

Kirstie Alley

Kennedy.

During the Obama administration, the Cheers sta hounded Barack for playing golf during the Louisiana floods crisis. To her credit, Alley expressed equal disappointment at George Bush for his response to Hurricane Katrina. Tellingly, Alley was an early celebrity to endorse Donald Trump on Twitter, but retracted her endorsement after the famous Billy Bush tapes came out with Donald Trump.

Ben Stein

None of this mattered on election day, though, as Kirstie tweeted her delight at Trump’s presidency on November 9, 2016 writing, “CONGRATULATIONS PRESIDENT TRUMP! Against all odds ..against the establishment and even against most from the GOP..U did it!”

Azealia Banks

Ben was a speechwriter for Richard Nixon and has been a registered republican ever since.

Banks was an avid Trump supporter and then abandoner before the election. But on November 9, 2016, Azealia took to Instagram to share her excitement for the Trump administration. In a now-deleted post, Banks wrote, “I’m f*cking proud as F*CK of you.

Robert Duvall

I must say that I am TRULY inspired by this and feel deep amounts of vindication. Thanks for letting me know that I’m not crazy (even though I fronted a few times) liberals run Hollywood and it’s been a COLD WORLD OUT HERE FOR ME AS A TRUMP SUPPORTER.”

Pat Sajack

Robert narrated most of the videos for the 2008 RNC, and has been a registered Republican ever since.

The Wheel of Fortune host seems to be a skeptic when it comes to President Donald Trump’s rhetoric, but that hasn’t stopped him from proudly displaying his conservative beliefs. In 2014, he posted, “I now believe global warming alarmists are unpatriotic racists knowingly misleading for their own ends.” Those are some wild beliefs, Pat!

Drew Carey

Sajak has also donated to GOP candidates like Rudy Giuliani and John McCain in the past.

Kelsey Grammer

Drew Carey is officially a registered republican.

The Frasier star told Jay Leno in 2012 that he felt that being a Republican cost him an Emmy nomination. “I’m a declared out-of-the-closet Republican in Hollywood,” he told the host.

“Do I believe it’s possible that some young person, young voting actor — or even older voting member for the Emmys — would sit there and go, ’Yeah, that’s a great performance, but ooh, I just hate everything he stands for?’ That’s impossible!” His sarcasm was thinly veiled. When asked about Trump in 2016, Grammer declared, “I’m a Trump guy!"
