To everybody’s relief, Smoochie’s pregnancy was safe and successful. She gave birth to eight little puppies without any complications. Everybody, including the owners, was ecstatic about the delivery.
However, as mentioned above, the owners were surprised when they reached home to meet the puppies. It was not just the absence of puppies that shocked the owners, but Smoochie also shocked them through her behavior.
