Impeccable Timing
We have all encountered moments in our lives where the universe just seems to align perfectly to provide some of the most unexpectedly perfect moments. This list is dedicated to those moments caught on camera.
Many of the items on this list were captured completely unintentionally, while others simply took some creativity and patience. One thing is certain, however. Every one of these photos will make to stop and look carefully at what’s happening.
RDA
If someone told you to imagine a squirrel holding a wrapper, you wouldn’t see what makes it so perfect. However, the way this little guy is holding the wrapper, as well as the wrapper’s appearance, makes it look as if he were reading a newspaper.
Maybe he is just very health conscious and is reading the nutritional information on the wrapper. No matter what the case, this perfectly timed photo is adorable and missing only one thing. If he were wearing glasses and a hat it would be even more adorable than it already is. Have at it photoshop masters!
Fat Lips
This photo probably took you a second to comprehend. No, that’s not lipstick, nor is it a mouth guard of any kind. In fact, it’s not even supposed to look like that at all. No doubt the person taking the photo was in stitches.
What you’re looking at is a good dog who caught a frisbee. The questions about how it managed to do so in that way will probably leave us all scratching our heads as much as the dog’s owner no doubt scratches his.
Stellar Surfing
Ok, let’s be honest, while it is not impossible, the odds of capturing this photo are so small that there’s a good chance that there is a bit of photoshop trickery involved. However, that still can’t take away from the fact that this is a stunning photo.
While this looks like some insane new extreme sport, this is just a well-timed and possibly manipulated image. Either that or that was really a huge moon just above the horizon. Even though this isn’t a real sport it certainly looks like Lunar Surfing should be a thing!
Waterfall From A Bottle
Once you look at this picture you’ll either kick yourself for never thinking of it, or you will be eager to try it out at the next chance you get. It just takes some patience, planning, and timing to get it just right.
With the perspective and distances, this photographer has perfectly captured this moment to make it seem like there is an endless waterfall flowing out of the bottle and down to the rocks below.
Who Needs A Wand When You Have A Magic Bat?
Alex Rodriguez was embroiled in a large and all too familiar sports scandal when he was caught using performance-enhancing drugs. This led to him being suspended for the entire 2014 baseball season.
While no one denies that using such substances is unfair and unsportsmanly, what exactly are the rules about using magical items? Surely this levitating bat is non-regulation and offers up a significant advantage.
Blowing Chunks… Of Sand?
We’ve all been there. We grab our favorite food or snack from our favorite hole-in-the-wall establishment. We know it’s a bit seedy or dirty but somehow that still tastes the best. The next thing you know, you have food poisoning. As bad as that is, we don’t even want to know what he ate.
What do you have to do to ingest that much sand before expelling it from your body? Everybody loves a good sandwich sure, but this sand which he clearly had enough of ended up there somehow. Do we really want to know the answer as to how?
Long Cat Is Long
We’ve all seen the slinky dog toys like in the movie Toy Story, but have you ever seen the telescopic cat version? The photo seems to show a cat you can resize how you want it to be, long or short.
While it is possibly a relative of internet meme Long Cat, this photo certainly causes a chuckle and more than a quick second look. At least it’s not real right? We don’t want to think about what it would mean if it was.
Socked In The Face
When you look at this picture quickly it seems pretty normal. The cat simply seems to have a very strange face. However, once you look a bit closer the true image reveals itself.
Whether it is pure coincidence, someone making the best of a novelty Christmas gift or a carefully planned photo, staring at this long enough just makes it funnier than before.
A New Bulb
We all know that street lamps need bright bulbs to illuminate the way. This one seems to be a bit dim as it doesn’t even light up the lamppost itself. However, if you give it more than a passing glance, the reality of the image becomes clear.
Whoever spotted this opportunity is either someone who replaces the bulbs or just a photographer with a good eye and a quirky sense of humor. Whatever the case may be, it’s clear that they know a stunning photo opportunity when they see it.
Now You're Thinking With Portals
This is one of those photographs that is both beautiful and bizarre. And no, it’s not photoshopped.
Or maybe this girl really did, unwittingly, open a portal to another universe. Luckily, it was caught on camera.
Getting Up In Her Face
Just a millisecond before this photo was taken, she was probably watching the volleyball from a distance.
A millisecond after, she probably wished that she had better distance judgment. It’s all fun and games until spacial awareness goes out the window!
Bad Parenting
This gloriously-timed photo shows the height of bad parenting as mom spills a cascade of liquor onto her young son. One too many, mom?
We’re sure she will never live this moment down. And the evidence will be around forever.
A Perfect Photobomb
This squirrel knew exactly when to strike. The cheeky little creature even seems to be looking directly at the lens.
Or, maybe, it’s the couple in the background who wasn’t meant to be there and the squirrel photographer behind the lens is letting out a sigh.
Butterfingers
Just a second after this photo was taken, a sodden and grumpy man on a fun night out with his mates gave everyone on the internet a reason to smile.
And you can’t help but laugh at this man’s misfortune. His look of absolute horror and embarrassment as his drink comes hurtling at his face is absolutely priceless. The man on the right, on the other hand, looks picture-perfect.
A Voracious Appetite
Is that a hell hound devouring his unsuspecting victims?
No, it’s just a mind-bending optical illusion that puts Fido in the foreground. Nevertheless, it’s still entertaining. The man was obviously bored or annoyed on this beach vacation, so he decided to entertain himself.
A Bizarre Combination
What do you get when you cross a woman with a parrot? That’s right!
Illusion or not, this is a photo you’ll never be able to unsee — but you won’t be able to tear your eyes away. We know we’ll be haunted by this unsettling demon-like face forever.
Pegadeer
Is it the mythological winged horse, Pegasus? Unfortunately not. But if you still want to believe, we won’t tell anyone.
The photographer had amazing luck on his side — it’s not every day that a giant bird opens its wings perfectly behind a deer. The illusion it creates is both fascinating and beautiful. We’re almost sorry that it isn’t real.
Just Chilling
We can certainly bet that whoever snapped this lucky photo was highly amused. The composition is absolutely perfect.
The photographer, dog, and commuter were all at exactly the right place, at exactly the right time. The dog looks wistful — as if contemplating the meaning of life.
A Disturbing Merge
This photo needs a closer look before you can figure out what is going on here, but that doesn’t make it any less terrifying.
At first glance, it looks like a man-baby. Then you see the line where the two faces don’t quite meet and realize how silly you were all along. Now there’s a horrifying photo for the book, mom!
Monster
Just sit back and enjoy this one… don’t think about it too hard. We’re not sure whether to laugh or cry.
The fact that the gymnast can contort her body like that is amazing in itself. Ignore the monster with a foot for a head, and keep the photo away from children — unless you want to give them nightmares.
