Stranded Woman Has To Deal With 3 Teenagers

In Trouble

The woman's car just died in the middle of the road. It wouldn't start again. She was a half hour away from home, and her phone had run out of battery.

As she got out of the car, the woman realized she was in the bad part of town. And before she got a chance to ask for help, she saw three teenage boys approaching her broken car. She froze on the spot. The woman had no idea what their intentions were.

Jane McQuillin

Jane McQuillin was a middle-aged woman who worked at a restaurant in her small town in Texas. She really liked it and was saving to open her own little restaurant at one point.

The woman was loved by everyone. Her coworkers, neighbors, and the restaurant's loyal customers enjoyed her upbeat personality. They praised her for always being in a good mood. But things aren't always what they seem.

Single Mom

Jane was a struggling single mom. She didn't show it, but she was having difficulties raising her daughter, Jamie. Ever since her divorce, life hadn't been the same.

But Jane was also a very strong woman. She would sacrifice anything for the well-being of her daughter. And when it came to her day-to-day life as a single mother, her car was essential. She couldn't afford to lose it no matter what. She used it for everything.

Financial Problems

Jane's ex-husband lost his job, so he couldn't pay child support anymore. This meant that the woman had to do something to make up for the loss.

So she came up with the idea to get another job. She found one for the evening shift, but she always had to go through a bad neighborhood on her way there. This didn't matter to her, as she had always believed in the good in people. But her beliefs would soon be challenged in the most unexpected way.

Depression

Having two jobs and taking care of a little girl soon became overwhelming for Jane. It would be for anyone else, too, no matter how strong one was.

While she always had a smile and a good word for everyone around her, Jane gradually fell into a deep depression due to too many things to handle. And this was just the beginning.

Fighting

But Jane was a fighter and wasn't planning on backing down from a challenge. Especially when the well-being of her family was at stake.

The woman managed to get help, and thanks to her friends and family, she had all the support to go through the worst. She also began to get used to the new schedule and didn't find it as overwhelming as before. Things were looking good for the woman, but her biggest challenge had yet to come.

The Good In People

Jane was the type of person who always tried to see the good in people and believed everyone had their own struggles and shouldn't judge anyone.

But her beliefs would soon be challenged. When her car broke down on her way home from work, and she saw three suspicious teenagers preparing to make a move, she didn't know what to believe anymore.

Evening Shift

Working an evening shift wasn't easy, but Jane needed the money, even if it meant spending less time with her daughter and not having much left for herself as well.

But working until late also meant more danger on her way back home. Since the town was so small, she didn't have much choice but to go through a neighborhood that had a very bad reputation.

Car Breaking Down

Jane didn't care much about having to go through the so-called bad neighborhood of the town, but when her car broke down right in the middle of it, she started to worry.

It was the middle of the night, and she couldn't afford to lose her car, as it would gravely affect her life. And when she saw three teenagers approaching her, she feared for her safety.

Three Teenagers Approach

While looking for a way to get through that tricky situation, Jane noticed three teenagers had started approaching her car.

The three boys were hanging out in the area when they noticed a car stopping in the middle of the road. It didn't take long for them to head toward it. This wasn't something that happened every day in their neighborhood, especially at that hour.

Terrified

When she saw the three teenagers approach her car, Jane was already out of the vehicle, looking for help. But there was no one on the street beside the boys.

The woman was scared. She didn't know what their intentions were and what they were doing on the street so late at night. What could she do? Then the most unexpected thing happened.

Offering To Help

When the group of teens saw the woman on the road with smoke coming out of her engine, they decided to get out and help.

The three teenagers, Billy Tarbett, Bailey Campbell, and Aeron McJames, came upon the lady around midnight when they were headed to a fast-food chain for something to eat. They stopped near her car and asked her if she needed any help.

Pushing

Jane thanked them but told them that she didn't know what they could do. Maybe borrow their phone, so she could call for someone to tow her car.

One of the boys was good at cars and said it didn't look so bad. It just needs a little push. So all three boys began pushing the car until the engine started again. Jane was the happiest when she saw the car running again. She thanked the boys and headed home.

Faith In Humanity Restored

When Jane got home, she was overjoyed. She never expected anything like this to happen, especially not in that neighborhood. But at the same time, she always had hope that people always have the best intentions.

She was right. The three boys only wanted to help. And maybe the reputation of that neighborhood was not so accurate.

Going Viral

Jane was so touched by the event that she went to social media and posted her story. It was soon shared by thousands of people.

People from her town and even from all over the country were touched by the events and said those boys were an example for every teenager out there. Everyone should act like that.
