26 Stars Who Were Really, Ridiculously Hot When They Were Younger

Martha Stewart

The stars of Hollywood we know today are stars because they've had long and successful careers. In some cases, so long that we often forget what they looked like when they first set out on their road to stardom.

We've gathered 26 outstanding Stars with lifelong success whose youthful photos are sure to shock you!

In 1990, Martha Stewart signed with Time Publishing Ventures to develop a new magazine, 'Martha Stewart Living'. She would serve as editor and chief. The magazine's publication would reach its peak in 2002 at more than 2 million copies per issue.

Angela Bassett

In 1993, she began a weekly half-hour program based on the contents of her magazine. The show expanded to weekdays in 1997 and was later granted a full hour show in 1999. Stewart was frequently seen on NBC and CBS and has always been associated with cooking and improving your home.

John McCain

Angela Bassett has been an amazing actress over the years, covering some amazing roles such as Voletta Wallace in ‘Notorious’ in 2009, a young woman struggling to find her sexual confidence in ‘How Stella Got Her Groove Back’ in 1998, and especially Tina Turner in ‘What’s Love Got to Do With It’ in 1993 which earned Angela her first Academy Award Nomination.

Senator McCain has been awarded the Silver Star, the Bronze Star, the Legion of Merit, a Purple Heart and the Distinguished Flying Cross. In February of 2007, McCain appeared on the "Late Show with David Letterman" and confirmed that he would seek the Republican Presidential Nomination. Two months later, McCain confirmed he would run for President at a speech in New Hampshire.

Al Pacino

In August 2008, he controversially selected Governor Sarah Palin of Alaska as his vice presidential running mate. The following month, he would accept the Republican nomination for president at the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota.

It's safe to say that with a history of movies like 'Scarface' and 'The Godfather', we are most looking forward to Martin Scorsese's next gangster film bringing screen legends Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, and Harvey Keitel together. Scorsese says that the new project won't simply be another Goodfellas or Casino.

John Wayne

'The Irishman' will see De Niro play a hit man who has had roles in major deaths including JFK and Jimmy Hoffa. Alongside him will be Pesci, Liotta, Keitel and Bobby Cannavale.

We all know John Wayne as the cowboy actor with the most traditional gunslinging machismo out there. After more than 70 low-budget westerns, Wayne's career was stuck until Ford cast him in 'Stagecoach', the movie that made him a star.

Drew Carey

He appeared in nearly 250 movies, many of them are now highly regarded classics.

Drew Carey was mostly known for the Ohio based 'Drew Carey Show' which featured an awkward yet funny set of characters.

Albert Finney

Carey later went on to host 'Whose Line Is It Anyways' and thereafter hosted 'The Price Is Right'.

Laurence Fishburne

Finney has been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor four times, for Tom Jones (1963), Murder on the Orient Express (1974), The Dresser (1983), and Under the Volcano (1984); and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Erin Brockovich (2000).

Laurence Fishburne is currently one of Hollywood's many stars that are making a strong effort to provide relief to Houston after the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. From 'The Matrix' to 'John Wick 2' to 'Batman vs.

Martin Sheen

Superman', Laurence Fishburne has always played the role of the patricarchal wise man with a sense of bad--- attitude that ultimately makes us all chomping at the bit for his next performance.

Martin Sheen

Martin Sheen is the father of fellow Hollywood stars, Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen. It's amazing that when we look back at what Martin looked like when he was younger, he was a perfect cross between both of his sons.

Meryl Streep

Over the years, we've seen Martin Sheen play many roles alongside his son Charlie, who was once one of the most sought after stars on television.

In Hollywood, older women are typically relegated to play supporting roles such as the leading actor's grandmother or cooky neighbor. Meryl Streep has consistently played vital roles in almost every film she appears in and has rewritten the way we perceive older women in Hollywood.

James Earl Jones

Even as an older woman, she's still beautiful, but as we can see here, she always was.

Whether it be the blind old man in 'The Sandlot' or the voice over for Darth Vader in 'Star Wars', we all know James Earl Jones for his deep and almost ominous yet powerful voice.

Jessica Lange

He's reached legendary status amongst fans, leaving it hard to imagine him as having ever been young, but as we can see here, he was once a very handsome young man.

Jessica Lange has always been an amazing actress, but how we see her now as the evil character in 'American Horror Story' is nothing compared to her innocent beauty she wields in the image above. She said, "I certainly learned a lot about Joan Crawford that I never knew before and inhabiting her was an extraordinary experience, really," Lange told E!

Christpher Walken

"I found all sorts of contradictions and wonderful strengths and weaknesses, an incredible past. She's a very complex character…To be given a role like this, it was great in that I was able to go to so many different areas and to play so many different emotions."

Christopher Walken is possibly one of the most impersonated stars in Hollywood given his unique and memorable personality. This has given him legendary star status despite having an exceptionally low key 2015 and 2016.

Mads Mikkelsen

Audiences are hoping for more performances in late 2017 and 2018, but we are all happily patient for his next appearance because when he does appear, it's always for an unforgettable role. While we know him for his older appearance, it's shocking to see that he was quite the stud in his early 20's.

Mads Mikkelson was recently seen in the Star Wars story, 'Rogue One' as Galen Erso, the father of the leading female actress, Jyn.

Helen Mirren

Mads Mikkelson typically plays the role of the villain in most of his appearances, often characterized by his asymmetrical eyes which are certainly not a factor in this look in his younger years before his acting career saw liftoff.

When we think of Helen Mirren, we typically think of an older female actress, certainly in the same league as Meryl Streep. She is amongst the masters of acting and is still going very strong, recently appearing in the final installment of 'The Fast and The Furious' Franchise, 'The Fate of The Furious'.

Matt LeBlanc

Although she simply made a guest appearance in the film, any time Helen Mirren shows up, the film is all the better for it.

Matt LeBlanc's career used to be at an all-time high when he looked like this. This was the time when his 'Friend's run was still going strong, and his comedic timing was still perfectly on point.

Bernie Sanders

Matt LeBlanc has aged wonderfully, but unfortunately, it seems that his charm has worn off over the years as he's been absent from the spotlight for quite some time.

if you're into that professorial corduroys + unkempt hair kind of thing.

Bernie Sanders was the far left wing Democratic candidate for the Presidential race of 2016. His character created a major following of millennials that didn't show up at the polls, one of the major reasons he lost to Hillary Clinton in the Primaries.

Anjelica Huston

We all know him as the older man now, but check out what he used to look like when he was younger, not half bad if you're into that nerdy hipster sort of look.

Anjelica Huston used to have a peaceful, pretty look about her. Since 'The Adams Family' we've always known her to have a sinister vibe about her roles that have curved our view of her.

Joe Biden

She stands out for her dark and almost haunting eyes and a rather large nose.

Joe Biden wasn't always the friendly old guy sitting in as Vice President. He did always dress the part as we see here with his dapper suit, football, and son in hand.

Robert De Niro

He certainly looks like the All-American government official he was meant to be even in his early days.

Robert De Niro is famous for playing the role of an Italian-American Gangster. Even here he looks great with a gun in hand, but it's amazing to see what he looks like when you take away all of the wrinkles and a bulbous nose that comes with age, of course.

Susan Sarandon

De Niro was actually a pretty good looking guy back in the day.

As we can see in this picture above, Susan Sarandon was quite the sex symbol when she was younger.

Stephen Colbert

Granted, she's aged very well and is still attractive in recent years, she clearly had a lot to be confident about throughout her life, which we're sure helped along the way throughout her acting career.

Samuel L. Jackson

Stephen Colbert isn't someone we'd expect to make this list but when you look at how well he rocks longer hair and a scruffy beard, we can see why he has that raw magnetism that gets everyone watching his shows every week.

What can we say about Samuel L. Jackson that everyone doesn't already know? He's been in the limelight for as long as we can remember. From 'Pulp Fiction' to 'Star Wars' to 'Django Unchained', Samuel L.

Ian McKellen

Jackson amazes us that he can virtually play the same role over and over again and be put on a pedestal for it. When we think of Samuel L. Jackson, we picture him as an older bald man, but he didn't always rock the bald look as we can see here.

While Ian McKellen has been known for many outstanding roles, he's most well known for his part in the X-Men Series as Magneto.

Anthony Hopkins

He's an old man now but he was a really good looking young man when he first started his acting career.

It's hard to imagine a young Anthony Hopkins but this turtle neck wearing fellow is a crazy sight to see.

In almost every major film he's taken a part in, he's much older with very defined wrinkles that clearly say he's seen some stuff.
