Surprisingly enough, Bryce was raised largely away from show business. Ron didnt allow them access to television and encouraged them to spend their time outside. Show business did seem to creep in though, as she recalls being babysat by Tom Cruise on occasion. After studying at NYU for three years, she caught the attention of M. Night Shyamalan who offered her a part in his major movie “The Village” two weeks after meeting her.
