10 Mouthwatering Watermelon Hacks Perfect for the Summer Season (Or Any Season!)

We all know how hot humid it gets during the summer season, we tend to leave our fans and air conditioners on an entire day just to feel refreshed. But It’s also during the summer season where we’re able to enjoy delicious cold treats like ice cream and cold juice.  Of course, for most people, summer just isn’t complete without the refreshing taste of watermelons!

Here are some scrumptious watermelon hacks that will take your summer to a whole new level!

Keep the kids away, this one’s for the adults out there! Who says watermelon can’t be served with a little alcohol? Well, with this recipe, you can have a little fun with your watermelon. 
You just need to follow these simple steps:
1. Add one cup of frozen watermelon cubes into a blender with 1/3 cup watermelon water, juice of half a lemon, 1 scoop of Vega Sport Electrolyte Hydrator and 1oz of vodka.

2. Blend until slushy. 3. Pour into a glass and garnish with a small bunch of fresh mint.

Grilled watermelon is actually more common than you think. Some families even enjoy preparing and eating these during summer barbecues because it’s so simple and easy to make! All you need is sliced watermelon, a grill, and a skewer! 
To make grilled watermelon, here’s what you need to do:
1. Cut the watermelon into 1- 11/2inch triangle wedges, leaving the rind on the base. 2.

Place directly onto a medium-high heat grill for one-two minutes a side. 3. Remove from grill, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and honey. 4. Then top with crumbled feta and season with dried oregano, sea salt & pepper.

  • Garnish: 2 small wedges of fresh watermelon

  • Cut the watermelon into small chunks
  • Refrigerate the sliced watermelons for an hour
  • When ready, put the sliced watermelon into the blender along with milk, yogurt, then maple syrup and blend until it is smooth.

  • 16 1-inch cubes seedless watermelon, chilled

  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped mint
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped shallots

  • Use a small melon baller or a 1/4 teaspoon measuring spoon, then scoop out a circle in each watermelon cube. Be careful and make sure the cube is still intact.
